What are your favorite Disney sidekicks?

Which sidekick is your:

  1. Favorite (speaking human language)
  2. Favorite (not talking)
  3. Least favorite
  4. Underrated
  5. Favorite villain sidekick

I gave separate categories to the best sideckick that can talk and one that can´t, because there are many animal sideckicks who deserve attention.

Romantasy with forced seduction and dub con

I want romantasy recs without conscent talk or MMC telling the FMC she is not ready.

The MMC should clearly want the FMC and is actively seducing her or talking her into it (maybe even blackmailing).

Maybe the FMC is unsure or she is angry at the MMC at the moment, so she isn´t making the first step.

The FMC wants it too, but I want the MMC to be one to initiate sex.

When they are about to get intimate, no asking constantly the FMC if he should stop. It should be clear that the MMC don´t want to stop. He should also think about his own pleasure, not only about the FMC.

Not looking for books with reverse harem or smut only. Not looking for non con in a dark romance way.

I want a good fantasy plot combined with a romance plot. Romance can also be only a subplot.

Just no green flag MMC. A MMC who wants to follow his desire. Not straight against the will of the FMC, but also not being too restrained.

Recs for older books are also welcome.

Dark Romance with punishment belting or whipping

Dark romance books where the MMC punished the FMC for something she has said or done.

It has to me a severe punishment, more than a short spanking.

No BDSM, an actual punishment. FMC doesn´t want it and it´s painful and humiliating for her.

I would prefer the punishment scene not leading immediately into sex. Or at least it should be non con (without turning into dub con).

I have no trigger.

Period Dramas about a profession, craft

I want period dramas that explain the basics of a craft and watching the protagonist to make certain things from scratch. It can be a small part of the story.

Don´t focus on painting, I want to see other professions.

Movies:

  • Die Glasbläserin (2016) - german movie about a woman making products of glass
  • Perfume: The Story of a Murderer (2006) - how to make perfumes, preserve fragrances

Series:

  • The Miniaturist (2017) - protagonist gets miniature figurines matching her dollhouse
  • Velvet (2014) - making dresses, running a fashion house

Anime:

  • Arte (2020) - woman wants to be an artist in 16th century (not only painting, but also carrying clay for sculptures)

What other movies and series can you recommend?

Fantasy romance with slave FMC

Fantasy romance books with FMC being a slave.

She is a slave at the start of the series or becomes one in the course of the story.

She belongs to the MMC or to someone else.

I want heavy power imbalance and her suffering because of her life belonging to someone else and having no rights.

I don´t mind darker reads.

Also recs for older books are welcome.

Dark Romance with Slave Auction

Dark romance stories where the FMC is kidnapped or sold into slavery.

She didn´t sell herself and it isn´t some BDSM play.

I want the FMC to find it humiliating to be exposed to everone´s gaze.

The men are looking at her and maybe touching her, making comments about her appearance and what they want to do with her.

Later she is sold and becomes an unwilling slave. I would prefer it darker, so no rescue from the new master. Instead he is using her, wants to break her, make her submit.

But the slave auction has to be a big part of the story.

Do not recommend Hunting Adeline.

I have no trigger.

Fantasy romance with FMC already being a queen

Romantasy books where the FMC is already queen and has to rule her kingdom.

In most books she becomes the queen at the end and we don´t see the actual ruling part for very long. But the political intrigue, forging alliances, discussions with advisors, having to make har decisions would be interesting to follow.

It can also be her becoming a queen very soon in the series, so that we see her as queen in later books.

Just reading a book where FMC is queen:

Romantasy with morally grey MMC who isn´t sacrifising himself

I want a morally grey MMC who isn´t secretly sacrifising himself for his people. Not for his found family, not for his subjects, not even for the FMC.

Many morally grey MMCs are in reality good people who are just pretending to be the bad guy. But I want someone who is making hard decisions and also doesn´t put his own needs aside.
