7 yrs Software Support

So the pixel 10 Pro 256 GB is like 750€ which is quite expensive. But if it holds up for 5-7 yrs, I think it is a good Investment. Thing is: will it still be useable after 5+ yrs of use? It has enough RAM to be futureproof, but Tensor G5 is already for somethings underpowered and the battery does get quite hot...

What do you guys think about the real world longevity of this phone?

Buy once cry once?

So, I actually wanted to buy a mid range (400€-ish; Poco X8 Pro/Max) phone, but due to marketing and a good offer on amazon I ended up spending 730€ for the Pixel 10 Pro. I hope it will last me the next 6 yrs as a daily driver. Should I return the phone (it is not yet delivered)? Because I am not wealthy and that is so much money.

TlDR: 730€ for Pixel10Pro (265GB). Wise future proof investment or better alternatives?

Hiby R1 or alternative (budget friendly DAP9?

So the Fiio Snowsky Disc now supports gapless. It also features LDAC Bluetooth. I want to buy a budget DAP to use so i dont get distracted from my phone. Main use cases: in the gym with bluetooth TWS (IMPORTANT) and at home with IEMs (7hz Diablos). I have seen the R1 does have good Modsupport. What are its advantages vs the disc? Right now, as far as my research went, the disc is the better option - pls share me your insights :D

7Hz Diablo?

Hey 👋 i am new to the world of audiophiles and iems. 1 month ago i bought my first pair of iems (waner sg 2 red Lion) and since than i have been listening to music 24/7. I already bought a RC for the sale, and I want to buy a new IEM (~150€). I am eyeing the 7Hz Diablo, cause i do like bass. Anyone got experience with them? I like bass, but i also love to listen to lyrics - Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, Tyler The Creator, MF Doom, but also Daft Punk, Black Sabbat, Bring Me The Horizon...If the bass makes the vocals muddy, i might need another recc. 🙂
