Online multiplayer Xbox x to Xbox 1

Hi my family has Divinity 2 on Xbox x and Xbox One and both consoles. We wanted to set up online multiplayer with the two consoles but the Xbox X says it needs Xbox One version of game to connect.

If I buy a second Xbox One version of the game to put in the X, will it be compatible to play with the other Xbox One or are we wasting our money?

Please help!

Couch Potato seeking Steel Mace recs

Hi all. I’m a 5’1” woman who has gained about 30lbs since covid. I am potato shape. I walk my dog 40+ mins a day and recently started working out with 8lb and (with both hands) 16lb dumbbells, a Pilates mat and resistance bands.

When is it safe to transfer/add steel mace or steel club and what size for my potato physique? My goal is to drop the weight, building strong muscle while feeling like a badass medieval knight and the steel mace is my reward for not quitting on myself.

Note: I haven’t used kettlebells but I’m open to adding to routine.

Also down for any routines that add to the medieval badassery without going to the gym. Think Tanktolman style. I don’t care about being ultra thin. I want to be buff and fit again. 💪

Cooking Life Hacks/Fixations

Just brain dumping some cooking life hacks that have helped me as I recover from burnout or currently testing.

1- Rice cooker recipes. Cook more than just rice in a container that never overheats and you just push a button and it will auto turn off when you forget.

Try:
Mixing rice and quinoa 1:1 to water.

Dump in some frozen veg to rice or other meals in the rice cooker.

Reheat food like soup, or canned goods etc..

Cooking eggs in it is so much easier to clean.

Thick Japanese style pancakes (follow your normal pancake mix recipe, mix dump and forget)

2- Cottage cheese in Spaghettios. More protein and more filling comfort meal.

3- Cut your veg in big chunks but with corners. I like to take carrots and cucumbers and cut in half lengthwise (cut from root to tip) and then cut goofy triangles all the way down. I put these in a container with some vinegar, oil and seasonings and shake. The big chunks take a fraction of the time to cut but the triangle shape seems more satisfying like when you cut sandwiches in triangles.

4- Instant pot beans 3-4 cups of beans(any), fill halfway mark with water add seasonings, 40 mins and let naturally release.

5- Souper Cubs Lego meals- freeze extra rice or leftovers or beans, minced meat etc.. in proportioned cubes. You can mix and match to your taste later and you don’t have to think about how much or break apart a giant container.

Please share your fave meal hacks that make thinking about meals less stressful. Currently in search of a savory breakfast option that is stupid easy in the morning because I can’t be bothered to cook when I’m already always running late.

Badass workout ideas?

I’ve been struggling to get back into working out. I’m at couch potato physique. I work super far away and have a kid and dog to look after and find working out to be either selfish (taking time from family) , embarrassing (the clothes and my lack of skills) or under/overstimulating (the gym machines are so damn loud but pumping a weight 10-20 times is achingly boring).

I used to love Pilates class but I don’t have the money or time except at home. I walk my dog religiously but he stops to smell and pee stuff every 5 steps so it’s hard to get a steady pace but I know him smelling is good for his anxiety. (His Sephora, if you will). I want to run and he wants to sniff or I want to walk and he’s eager to run on and off for the whole walk so I’m not really doing cardio or strength training.

I have seen these weaponup sword courses and people training with steel maces and scratches a desire to make my movement feel needed or like a warrior fantasy. Has anyone tried either? Was it a short fad or has it held your interest?
