Found three silver dimes including a winded liberty! Been a while since I found a merc, so I am happy about that.
Also found 1.68g of stuff marked 10k gold that I will scratch test when I get an acid kit.
Then a few bobbles marked 925 including a funny little pendant.
And of course a pile of trash jewelry that went into the jar.
Also a couple bucks in spendables and some foreign stuff.
Weighs in at 1.9g, not bad for a morning search! Since I still haven’t bought my acid test kit, I took it to a gold buyer on the way home to make sure it’s real.
$154.97 value as of todays prices.
Went away for the weekend with my lady, did a little treasure hunting.

Everything found at coinstar machines in San Diego county while on a mini vacation this past weekend.

I HAVE to get a gold acid test kit to start verifying these finds. It’s on the Amazon wishlist 😆
Kicked off with about $6 in nickels, then found a bunch more change, totaling $23.02 in spendables.
Along the way I found three silver dimes, and FINALLY after 18 months of searching coinstars I found a 35% silver war nickel. Woohoo! Glad to scratch that one off the list finally.

A bit of US silver, a bit of Canadian silver, and a little 14k earring. Woot woot!
Found some silver and gold today. Two silver quarters, one Canadian and one US, and two silver dimes, also one Canadian and one US.
Also found a little 14k earring with the stone missing, both the earring and backing are marked. They weigh 0.2 grams
Also found some random foreigns and other worthless nonsense.
Not a bad little haul today, always happy to add treasure to the hoard!
Found some US silver AND some Canadian silver at the coinstar today!
The Canadian silver dime was left on the shelf for me, and the silver quarters were in the reject slot. The US silver dime was under the machine.
Also found $4.30 in spendables and some other odds and ends!

Found the quarter at a coinstar when I went camping last weekend and had to stop into the grocery store to buy firewood on the way.
Found the dime yesterday on my Sunday coinstar searches.
Then went on a jewelry hunt and found a few things.
Everything in pic 5 is marked 925 somewhere, and the dangly earring is marked both on the post and the back of the dangly part (as seen in pic 6)
Pic 7 is a weird evil eye pendant that is marked 14k, but as you can see in pic 8 it’s laser etched instead of stamped, which makes me think it may be/is probably fake. I REALLY gotta get a gold acid test kit soon.

And pic 10 is probably my favorite find of the hunt. Not marked or anything, so probably not silver, but dang is it cool! 😂

Free silver! A dirty ‘64 and a nice crispy ‘52. That ‘52 must have come outta someone’s collection, it’s in pretty good condition.

Pics 1 and 2 are a dirty ‘64 and a NICE crispy ‘52. Pic 3 is some silver earrings, a couple of which are gold plated. Pic 4 is a teeny tiny 14k gold earring.

Found this a couple weeks ago at a coinstar, saw the 14k setting and backing, and was hoping it was maybe a real diamond
Lab grown, but a nice 1 carat lab grown, so there’s that! At least it’s not glass or CZ or something else.
Found a serial number on it from IGI when I was taking a closer look with my jewelers loupe
I guess it’s still technically worth something as a lab grown, just not too much

4 silver dimes and a little 925 marked curb chain. Also a teeny tiny necklace marked 14k that could be white gold. Even a small find like this is exciting to me…especially for free!
