I’m headed to ox in October and am inundated with instagram accounts advertising almost sold out freshers events (juke box soul sista the bully boiler ect) which seems crazy early given it’s only 2 days post results. are these worth it? should I stick to the tickets bought by the college (Wadham)? do I rlly need to buy them so soon? thanks!
hello all! after much procrastination I am going to fix up a patchwork knitted blanked made by a great, great relative. I can knit badly and can do basic sewing but any advice on what should be a fairly simple act of sewing the patches back together would be much appreciated! what needles should I use? How do I stitch it! the final photo shows where it has evidently been repaired in the past?
I'm interailling Europe on my first backpacking trip and I would love some book recommendations to read while there! Sort of a 'On the Road by Jack Kerouak' take - about travelling, youth, hedonism, rebellion, mundanity, rawness etc, but preferably set in Europe. I love that musical prose. Headed to Chzechia, Germany, Austria, Hungary etc if that helps. Thanks in advance - I've been looking forever for the 'perfect' book!
