Pearson's Nut Roll

I'm a transplant and always laughed at the Pearson's Nut Roll. What a quaint, old-fashioned candy, I thought. Not cool enough for this modern urban gal on the go.

Oh my god, what a fool I have been. They're absolutely delicious. And of course my dumb ass tried one for the first time right before the factory closes.

I am filled with equal parts salted nuts and regret. I need to trust you all more often when it comes to food recommendations.

ISO a good restaurant where I can watch tonight's game

Hey all,

Any suggestions for restaurants in St. Paul with TVs that will be showing tonight's World Cup game? I have been going to the Groveland Tap but am interested in a place where I can get a healthy-ish meal and watch the game...too many pierogies and onion rings from the Tap lately, and no self control.

Is this trail safe for a female runner to run on alone after work? I work on the East Side and know that some areas are more populated than others, and get a little sketched out if I'm the only person on a trail for a long stretch.

If this one isn't great, are there any trails near downtown that have parking nearby?
