This was my very first challenge entry on LEGO Ideas – back when I still had a lot to learn. But the theme of the month reminded me of it. Even though it has little to do with the Insectoids theme itself, it's a spaceship heavily inspired by an insect – the dragonfly. Hope you like it! 😊

⚙️ Working Boat Lift
An engineering masterpiece. Inspired by real-world boat lifts, this model features an ingenious working mechanism with moving gates, counterweights and a complete lifting sequence. It's one of those builds that reminds you just how much technical magic can be achieved with LEGO bricks.
As Santheg, I've been fortunate enough to celebrate my own milestones on LEGO Ideas. But Baron von Barron has always been one of the creators I admire most, and his work continues to inspire me every time he publishes a new project.
I'd genuinely love to see him keep creating these incredible original builds for many years to come.

I honestly don't have the words.
On February 11th, this project began as a dream on LEGO Ideas: the beautiful summer house from The Summer I Turned Pretty in LEGO bricks.
Today, July 1st, thanks to all of you, that dream has reached 10,000 supporters.
In just 140 days.

Every supporter, every comment, every share, every kind message and every recommendation helped make this possible. This achievement belongs to the entire TSITP community. You proved that the love for Cousins Beach, Belly, Conrad, Jeremiah and this wonderful story is very much alive.
Reaching 10,000 supporters means the project officially qualifies for the LEGO Ideas Review, which begins on September 7th, 2026.
From there, LEGO's review board will carefully evaluate the project. They consider many aspects, including the design, play and display value, feasibility, licensing, and overall market potential before deciding whether it should become an official LEGO set.
So yes...
This project now has a real chance to become an official LEGO set. 🤞

Hi Classic Space Fans!
I wanted to show you my mini version of the Galaxy Explorer from 2022 (#10497). I have built it as part of my LEGO House challenge contribution. This year's themes were a bit tricky for me – they're celebrating the 10th anniversary of the LEGO House, which is why all three themes revolve around parties and celebrations. I decided to build the ultimate gift, showcasing three themed worlds – including Classic Space. So, with a little luck, you might see my mini Galaxy Explorer, which I affectionately call Space Explorer, in Billund next year. That would be the second time I've been successful in this challenge with a Classic Space theme – so please keep your fingers crossed for me! 😊🤞
