I was a mechanic for close to 20 years so unfortunately I don’t trust a lot of them. I need some regular maintenance done on a ford edge and Honda Crv. I would do it myself but I don’t have a lift and it’s not allowed to do stuff by my HOA. If anyone knows someplace I could rent a lift and do the work myself that would be the best option, but I good trustworthy mechanic would be ok. They don’t need much just their 100k stuff. Transmission fluid changes and coolant exchanges. I think the ford might need ball joints also. Thanks in advance
Just had one of our new drivers call me and ask about some health stuff(I had extremely bad kidney stones a few months ago) and his isn’t the same but still bad abdominal pain for a couple days. I told him to take the night off and go to the Dr. I forgot they take all your option days the first year you go full time. How should he take a day off? The only stewards I know work days and wanted to ask here before calling on
If I’m not in the correct area please let me know. My dad bought a house for me during Covid, I’ve been making all the payments etc. We are getting ready to start a mortgage assumption so I take it over fully. Obviously the house has increased in value \~$100k since it was purchased. He can’t see his accountant for a week or so to ask the question. Will he be taxed on the increased home value with me just taking over the loan? Sorry if I should post elsewhere

I am gonna be doing a mortgage assumption on a house that my dad owns and they are obviously going to check my D/I ratio. This is my first home loan and don’t totally understand how it works. I should make about $135k this year and currently pay the mortgage to my dad ($1800 mortgage insurance and tax) I have a personal loan from medical stuff I had to have done which is $400/m and 0 credit card. But I do buy most of my groceries and gas with my Apple Card but pay it off as soon as the charge processes. Do the payments I make to apple to keep the balance at 0 count towards the d/i? If not I am at about 19% if it does I’m closer to 30%.
I have a friend that’s in his early 60’s that needs to have his few remaining teeth removed and dentures would be great also. He seriously has no money only makes maybe $1500 a month all under the table. I can help a little but not much. Is there someplace I can research to get him some help?
I know for the most part this is a normal keyboard and it’s from CP. I can’t find another one similar. Having the play/pause buttons on the left I love and the little wrist rest in the front. It didn’t break or anything. I just recently got my fiancée into gaming and she liked my keyboard more
My fiancé will be moving in soon. Currently I have no TV’s that are wall mounted, all on stands. In the future we’re going to have a 75” in the master bedroom and the living room. The wall they would attach to is the same wall but obviously different sides. I said it would be fine to mount them as long as we properly drill the mount to the center of the studs because they will essentially balance each other out. She says we should because it would put too much stress on the wall and we should have one on a stand(hard to do with a 75”). Is it ok to mount them the way I am thinking? I do want to add the way the rooms are setup and doors to center them in the room we would like they would most likely would share the same studs.
