Airtel DTH messed up my annual pack multiple times. Has anyone else faced this?

honestly don't know what else to do.

  • Recharged the Tamil Superstar HD 360-day pack.
  • Got only ~270 days validity instead of 360.
  • Customer care said they'd fix it manually.
  • Instead, they downgraded my HD pack to SD without my consent.
  • On calling again, they changed it to a monthly pack, again without my consent.
  • Finally, they asked me to pay an extra ₹250 to get the annual HD pack back, which I did based on their assurance.
  • They then asked me to email screenshots so they could verify and add the additional validity.

I emailed everything and received a reply saying I'd get an update within 24–48 hours. It's now been over a week with no response.

Has anyone faced something similar with Airtel DTH? Were you able to get it resolved, or should I escalate it to the Appellate Authority/National Consumer Helpline?

Portfolio Review Request: 31 | ₹30K SIP | Started Investing Jan 2024 | Long-Term Wealth Creation

Hi everyone,

I am 31 years old and started investing in mutual funds in January 2024. I am looking for feedback on my current portfolio and suggestions for improvement.

Portfolio Snapshot
Current Value: ₹8.25L
Total Invested: ₹7.68L
XIRR: 6.85%
Monthly SIP: ₹30,000
App Used: Zerodha Coin (Direct Mutual Funds)
Risk Appetite: Moderate
Goal: Long-term wealth creation
Investment Horizon: 10–15 years

Current SIP Allocation
Parag Parikh Flexi Cap Fund Direct Growth - ₹10,000 (33%)
Quant Small Cap Fund Direct Growth - ₹10,000 (33%)
Motilal Oswal Midcap 150 Index Fund Direct Growth - ₹10,000 (33%)
Lumpsum Investments: None currently.

Other Investments
EPF (Approx 12k/month)
NPS (Approx 12k/month)
Physical Gold (Occasional Lumpsum)
Emergency Fund: ₹3L in Liquid Fund

Why These Funds?
I selected these funds based on category diversification and long-term growth potential.
Parag Parikh Flexi Cap: For diversified equity exposure across market caps.
Quant Small Cap: For small-cap exposure considering my long investment horizon.
Motilal Oswal Midcap 150 Index: For passive mid-cap exposure.

I am still learning about portfolio construction and would like feedback on whether these choices are suitable or if there is unnecessary overlap.

Future Goal Investment
I am planning to invest my bonuses every 6 months as lumpsum investments for an education-related goal. I do not plan to touch this investment for at least 10 years.

Looking for suggestions on:
Suitable fund/category for this goal
Whether equity, hybrid, or other options would be better

Questions
Is my current 3-fund portfolio sufficient for a 10–15 year horizon?

Is a 33:33:33 allocation between Flexi Cap, Small Cap, and Mid Cap too aggressive?

Should I add a Nifty 50 index fund or large-cap exposure?

Should I continue with these funds or consider consolidation?

For my 10+ year education goal, what investment approach would you suggest?

Open to honest feedback and constructive criticism. Please point out any mistakes or improvements.
Thanks! 🙏
