Tenho tentado seguir o clássico tutorial do FRIKI, porém sem sucesso. instalei o Ubuntu 24.04.4 LTS e segui todo o guia, simplesmente na hora em que conecto o cabo WAN do router ao computador (através da Docking station) o script fica a procurar e procurar e nunca extrai nada.

No caso tenho o ONT da FiberHome, não sei se terá algo a ver, mas parece que,já tentei reinstalar o ubuntu na pen, voltar a sacar o script, e nada, simplesmente fica á procura das credenciais e não encontra.

Alguém que tenha feito a extração recentemente, com um ONT FiberHome, que possa confirmar a sua experiencia? Obrigado!

EDIT: Resolvido! Para o script funcionar o cabo ethernet deve ser conectado diretamente ao pc. A docking station era o problema aqui.

I'm sure these posts get tiresome but after researching every answer I came across to the question "what mini pc to start with?" is usually answered with "whatever is cheapest".

Well I came to throw you a curveball and let you know that in Soviet Amazon Spain all starter Beelinks cost pretty much the same, at 365-385€. So with that pricing in mind, here are the options i have locally (I'm also open to other option btw):

• MINI S 12 PRO/N100/16G/500G
• EQ12/N100/16G/500G
• MINI S13/N150/12G/512G/2.5G*1
• EQ13/N200/16G/500G

The goal for this server is mostly to backup some personal docs, personal photos (Immich), some videos, and then maybe expand into something else later. I plan to protect my server with a Flint 2 router so I don't think I need a second NIC, but i suppose it wouldn't hurt.

I value something that might be a bit upgradable and that sips power (most important factor) since electricity is expensive where I live and i want to keep it on 24/7.

Peço desculpas desde já por trazer de novo um tópico que já tem tido boas discussões aqui no sub, porém a Digi está a evoluir rápidamente e como tal tenho esperança que também seja o caso em termos de aceitação de routers de terceiros.

Ando a considerar o Flint 2, em preparação para o home server que planeio construir e proteger (acesso por vpn,wireguard/tailscale e afins). Como sou leigo nisto não quis saltar logo para um custom router e como o Flint 2 é bem recomendado acho que vou por aí.

Queria perguntar então se o exposto em posts como esse anexado, tudo o que tenha a ver com bridges, ONT duplo ainda se aplica? Isso para mim é um pouco Chinês mas pelo que entendo isto significa que não posso arrumar o segundo aparelho (fiberhome) da Digi, correto?

Mas isso é uma limitação por parte da Digi ou do router Flint2? Devo considerar o Flint 3, ou a Fibra 10Gb? Acima de tudo preciso que o router funcione sem problemas\conflitos entre dispositivos para o home server, Depois se tenho mais um ou menos um aparelho ligado é-me igual.

I’m not exactly a keyboard enthusiast but i would definitely like to purchase a good quality one I carry with me from home to work.

I have a Nizz Plum which is quite nice but it’s only 65% and it no longer serves my needs, so I have been looking at the Nuphy Air 75 V3 and apparently there is some good feedback but i have some requirements that might not be possible to meet with just that keyboard. Here goes:

• 75%

• ISO or ANSI layout - doesn’t matter as long as the keys(caps?) can be easily replaced with European variants (i need the Portuguese keys).

• Must work on Linux (deal breaker)

• silent or close to silent typing

• must have good battery life

• (ideally) no drivers, or open source so that it doesn’t become e-waste if the company ever stops supporting the keyboard.

• Likewise the keys shouldn’t be proprietary in a way that i can only buy from that company and nowhere else. Been burned by Logitech before so i really am trying to get out of corporate lockdown nonsense.

Not gonna lie I’m very excited for this launch. I am aware the shipping of the commercial units was delayed by about a month, but do we know if the review units will also be delayed?

If the answer is negative, when do you speculate we’ll see the first reviews? I’m hoping to see the first one(s) starting in 2 weeks or so. A man can dream.

What docking station, if any, can power up a framework laptop or pc so that we don’t have to constantly open and close it to power it on while using it stationary?

Dita o bom senso que quando a esmola é muita o pobre desconfia, pelo que pergunto se alguém está familiarizado com esse site, se é fidedigno e se sim, como é que eles ganham dinheiro, se alguem, quando a competição cobra uns 25€?

Estou um pouco farto da giga joga de apps de bancos/fintech que tenho no tlm, e sinceramente também começo a vê-lo como um risco.

Pensei em tentar reduzir tudo a apenas 1, a mais flexível possível, e ganhou o Revolut. Mas sinceramente ouço com cada coisa acerca dos controlos automáticos daquilo que fico com medo de a usar, volta e meia bloqueam a conta e depois são meses para ter respostas porque o apoio ao cliente é tudo chatbots.

Gostava de saber se há alguém a usar essa conta exclusivamente? Senão, alternativas parecidas? Estou a par do Moey, poderia eventualmente voltar lá, fechei conta no passado porque as notificações deles me estavam a irritar mas neste momento esse problema está a passar para o ActivoBank, daí também querer mudar.

Já alguém descobriu como os fazer?

Tudo o que consegui descobrir é que os permitem nos EUA, mas nada concreto de como automatizar depósitos desde contas europeias.

Ao que parece cada depósito tem um código pelo qual nem entendo como seria hipoteticamente fazê-lo.

FAQ - ignorar

Cheguei hoje a casa com a luz do LOS a vermelho. Já desliguei o router da tomada durante 30 segundos umas vezes. O site da Digi diz que não há falhas no serviço atualmente.

Sou o único? Ontem funcionava bem e não alterei nada nas definições do router desde então.

Basicamente o título.

Pelo que percebi a conta depósitos à ordem requer 5000€ para abrir, e como plataforma de investimento não parece particularmente atraente (altas comissões, produtos financeiros limitados). Como cereja no topo tanto as apps para Android como para iPhone têm reviews péssimas.

Como se justifica abrir conta aqui? Tem custos comparáveis à banca tradicional, mas sem o cashe ou estabilidade associados.

I get it, GNOME does not like apps in tray because it’s insecure and bla bla. I accept that.

Thing is, Nextcloud is notoriously unreliable on startup and I think part of that is due to it expecting to enter tray mode on log in. Same happens with Opensnitch, which barks at you if you don’t use the AppIndicator extension.

I would like to retire AppIndicator, really would. But as it stands it seems kind of impossible with some apps? How are people using Nextcloud sync without the tray icon showing successful syncs? Or using Opensnitch without it popping open on every log in due to the system service starting automatically?

So I recall some time ago seeing a meme that represented Steve Jobs saying something similar to “finally, we’ve designed our latest iPhone according to everything our customers say they want!”, and next to him is a massive abomination with a headphone jack, has a disk reader drawer, headphone jack is back, has a massive battery, a huge anthena, and so on.

Anybody recalls this and has that meme saved? I want to send it to all my Android friends who complain that Apple just takes away options from their customers.

So I’m on NixOS Stable, and for the past… month or so the Evolution option always builds from source, which never happened before. I don’t have any overlays or anything like that, just declaring a few settings.

Quickly asking if it’s happening to other people or if it’s just me? Thank you.

It is infinitely nicer that we have just a floating bar instead of opening an ugly tab that will immediately be replaced by the target URL.

Any reason why browser.urlbar.openintab = false by default?
