I haven’t painted in the gemstones yet, but it’s pretty much close enough to done. I have a problem with white scar paint where it always comes out with this weird texture no matter if I thin it or not, which makes painting white difficult. If anyone has any tips, pls share. Thanks!
I love the white/bone base armor that the official models have but I’m unsure of what to color the models that I have planned to have an aquatic vibe. I’m planning on making crab-themed warp spider exodites next.
Aside from one of the smaller ones going on the torso, they don’t show up on the instructions or display images or anyone’s personal builds. Especially the slightly larger ones. I know the idea is likely that I’m supposed to just put them wherever I want, but just for reference, where do they traditionally go?
Another one down. The salamander helmets work really well and give off a cool “scuba” vibe. The shoulder symbol is a little rough, but you can’t win em all.
He doesn’t look as much like a carrot anymore, but still looks like one enough that I find it charming. I’m waiting for some fantasy bits to come in the mail to do the rest of the squad.

The expedite reveal got me hyped and I’m kitbashing some corsairs with various fantasy elf bits in the meantime. I’m wondering if there’s any examples you guys have seen of bits or third party stuff that’s like, a bunch of tiny little lizards or dinosaurs or just animals in general that would work as set decor on terrain/on a shoulder or arm? I wish there was something similar to this online. I dont think i have steady enough hands to manually kitbash this or enough money to buy more parts if i mess up.
I’m wanting to see if I can design some dark age human characters around the aesthetic, which, judging by the man of iron, might have been a retro-futuristic solar/diesel-punk kind of look? Any help would be appreciated.
Edit: I am now aware that this isn’t how the men of iron originally looked, but in fairness, it does look similar to a lot of votann stuff.

Over the best two days, we’ve gotten multiple groups of extremely furious customers demanding that we give them the LEGO Legend of Zelda set despite the fact that it’s on hold for a customer. Mostly they bring up the fact that is says it’s in stock on online, but won’t let them place an order (which would be understandable if they had at least called the store about it.) Not only are they extremely rude about it, but they’ve gotten like, legitimately scary about it. They’ve been trying to get us to tell them when the customer put it on hold, if they’re an employee, when the hold expires, and personal info like an estimation of where they live??? They also keep asking if we have a wait list and trying to guilt us about it because “we drove all the way from [entire other state] to get it” (which like again, I don’t care, they should’ve called.) This has been multiple groups of very agitated customers over just the last two days. I’m assuming the LEGO set is retiring soon, but I’ve never seen customers act like this about a retiring LEGO set before. We had to hide it so they wouldn’t try to take photos of the customer’s info on the hold slip. Has anyone else had this problem with this specific LEGO set or is there a multi-state gas leak rn?
