Heyy! I’m a CS student and I’ve been wanting to properly learn Social Media Marketing, but honestly I feel like learning with other people would be way more fun and motivating than just watching courses alone lol.

So I was wondering if there are any other students/beginners here who are also interested in learning SMM and would wanna learn together, share resources, discuss things, practice, etc

And if you’re already working in SMM or have some experience with it, I’d also love to hear about your experience! Like what helped you get started, resources/courses you found useful, mistakes you made, things you wish you knew earlier, or just any advice in general

okay y'all, so i may or may not have put myself in a very interesting situation.

i'm applying for the photography position in my university's media cell and they want a portfolio. The deadline is in 2 days

BUT THE PROBLEM IS i genuinely don't know how aperture, shutter speed, ISO, or any of that works 😭 i own a canon 800D, but my photography knowledge is basically this button takes pictures, that button records videos

i know 2 days isn't enough to become a photographer, and I'm not expecting miracles. I just want to put together the strongest portfolio I realistically can in the time I have while learning as much as possible So...

What should I focus on learning first?

What kinds of photos would you include if you had to build a beginner portfolio in 48 hours?

Any YouTube channels or crash courses you'd recommend?

Any settings you'd suggest for a complete beginner using a canon 800D?

I'm fully prepared to spend the next two days touching grass and photographing literally everything 😭😞☝🏻

Which one was more worth it? Which has better career opportunities right now? If you were starting from scratch again, which would you pick?

Is anyone else's university like this or is mine just doing too much 😭

Our CS department requires an internship this summer and I finally found one. It's remote and unpaid 😞 but at least I found something.

Then I told my teacher and she was like "it's better to do an onsite internship because who's going to fill all the internship paperwork if it's remote?" And now that I'm looking at all the forms, I'm starting to see their point.

Before the internship starts, i need a form signed by the HOD, faculty supervisor, and then I have to take it to YDC to get some referral code thing. Then during the internship there's another form that needs signatures and then at the end there's an evaluation form.

Why do I need signatures from different people just to work for free 😭😭😭 Why is there more work for the internship than the actual internship 😞

Like I'm genuinely confused. For people who did remote internships, was getting all these forms signed actually an issue? Did your supervisor just sign everything digitally or what?
