Is this 100% fiber?

Is this 100% fiber?

Greetings. I’m moving into a new neighborhood where my friend currently lives. They sent me this photo of their equipment. Correct me if I’m wrong but this means it’s 100% fiber vice “fiber powered internet,” since the fiber is in the house?

Just looking to confirm before booking appointment.

Joined the Tudor club. My first. Love at first sight and I travel a lot hence wanting GMT.

Tudor nailed it with the burgundy.

I am buying new home, my rental will be available mid-August.

While I was waiting for a new home to be completed, I've been renting the house in the link in NE El Paso, $2200.00/month.

It's a nice, smaller house in a new neighborhood off McCombs, and the front door opens to a park.

My house should finish near the end of July and I'll be out of this place by mid August.

Thought I would toss it on here for interest before I notify the landlord and it starts being advertised for rent again.

These photos are the ones from the rental listing I found when looking for a place to rent, so the washer/dryer are included in the rent. No utilities are included.

Natural landscaping in back yard, new build.

Spin off from the turf/grass thread,

I hate maintaining land scaping and am looking for recommendations for companies for low maintenance natural land scaping in the back yard of the new build house I'm closing on next month.

I suppose leaving it however the builder leaves is "natural," but I don't mind spending some to spruce it up a bit from a natural perspective. I don't really want to have to water anything.

Thoughts/suggestions? West side.

Thanks!

Dry carbon center console overlay.

In another thread about overlays, I promised to come post about this one when I received it. It claimed to be real carbon fiber.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FDWKT7YV

I'm happy to report that it is, has plenty of VRB, and is thin enough that I don't think it looks like a cheap stick on.

I really like how it turned out.

Stack Infrastructure?

Anyone work for Stack at Project Jupiter? I see new jobs posted for the site in NM and wondering how it compares to the likes of MSoft, AWS, Google, and Meta?

What are Super El Niño impacts to El Paso?

I‘m new to El Paso and am curious how this Super El Nino will impact El Paso.

Searching suggest significantly above average precipitation.

For those that were here for the last one, I’d love to hear your experience.

It seems this one has the addition of the planet being 1.5c warmer than the last super event so could be worse around the globe.

MSRP, no other add-ons, mark ups. Go?

I've searched the sub for pricing and it seems "MSRP" is considered a good deal, some people reporting occasional discounts.

I'm in El Paso and one of two dealers has 2026 Golf R's on the lot.

Four of them.

The one I'm interested in, Lapiz Blue, has been on their lot nearly 90 days according to them.

I tried to leverage that fact, plus the fact that they have 4 of them, to get a discount, to no avail. They said "MSRP is the price."

To their credit, there are no other mark-ups or silly ad-ons, and their doc fee is only $475.00. So it's MSRP + $475 + tax.

Considering no other silly add ons and a "reasonable" doc fee compared to what I've seen before, it seems like a good deal.

Why am I hesitating. I've never bought a car without a discount before.

I don't know what I'm looking for. Encouragement? Down votes? Dunno. I'll probably pull the trigger in a day or two.

PS The other dealer in town, on the other hand, plays the ad-on game including 100 bucks for nitrogen in the tires! They don't have any Golf Rs though.

Something heart warming for the sub.

Something heartwarming for this sub.

Sitting in ATL D club delayed with everyone else.

Just watched a solo traveler give up his seat in a pod of chairs so a family could sit together.

Warms the cockles of my heart.

My pihole is using hagezi (Multi PRO++) and configured on the LAN side of my Asus router (with stock firmware) vice the WAN side as they now suggest.

As noted in the title, it isn't blocking ads when using the steam browser in a game. It blocks ads on the same websites outside of this instance.

I'm assuming it's bypassing it somehow, but I don't understand how. Looking to learn or any tips.

Thanks!

After setting up another device, I decided to try the duress PIN on my old device to check it out.

What a great feature! Wiped the phone almost instantly and forces restore to factory GOS.

Also scratched an itch because I've always wanted to try it.

I know, cool story, but it was neat!
