Tomorrow I’m buying a safe…

It’s a Hollon RG-22E White Republic and it comes with a S&G spartan electronic lock. I believe I can have it switched for a S&G Spyproof combination lock for free, but not 100% sure.

If it is free, I think I’d like a combination lock because I feel like they’re more secure against burglary attacks. I just feel like the electronic locks are so much more vulnerable due to hacking, manipulating wires, all that stuff. (I’m no expert but hopefully you get what I’m saying).

A couple of things I’m NOT concerned about are being able to get into the safe quickly (digital), or someone looking over my shoulder (spyproof combination). I’m just looking for the most reliable security from attacks.

Thank you all for your advice. I’d love to hear about any stories, feedback, or experiences you guys might have had with the two models listed above

ID Request Please

I just got this guy in my kitchen in Clearwater, Florida where we have tons of lizards all over the house and yard all year round. I’d like to keep this guy, and maybe some others I find around the yard and garage, but I’m not sure how to feed this guy or give him water. Does he need to be placed on the porch for heat? The porch is screened in and covered so he could get heat but not be in direct sunlight. Would the kitchen window sill be too cold? I’ll likely get a better container for him soon, this was just what I had in the moment. It’s a glass cup with a lid but the lid has a good size straw hole for air.

TL;DR - Found a lizard in my kitchen, need tips for keeping him and potential others alive as I know nothing about lizards/reptiles

** Edit:

I got him some mealworms and tiny crickets as well as one of those basic plastic containers made for lizards, hamsters, hermit crabs, etc. I put some water in a water bottle cap and placed it in the crate for him.

Anyone seen/heard of this brand?

I bought an old safe on Facebook marketplace and when I got home, I tried to do some research on it, but haven’t been able to find anything.

100% SCHD in Taxable Brokeage

I’ve got my Roth all figured out and setup with growth. I’ve heard it’s best to have dividend income in taxable brokerage. I was thinking of doing 100% SCHD to build a 45k/yr income within 15 years. Is this a good idea? Would love to hear any suggestions or recommendations for a taxable brokerage portfolio build

Roth IRA Plan

With a 25 year time horizon, I plan on holding 40% SOXQ, 30% VOOG, and 30% ISCG

What are your thoughts? Would you make any changes to the holdings, or maybe the weighting of each?

Which ETF pairs best with..

I want to have SOXQ as a core holding in my Roth. Which one or two ETFs would pair best with it to balance it out a bit? I am 34, so I have about a 25, maybe 30 year time horizon. Therefore, I’m trying to go mostly, if not all, growth, with a high risk tolerance as long as the underlying makes sense and I believe in it for the long run.

Maybe 70% SOXQ, 20% VGT, 10% VOO?

Are growth ETFs a bad idea because the market is priced so high right now? Are there better strategies like momentum ETFs?

I’m stuck, and appreciate any and all help!

Roth IRA Growth Stocks?

So I currently am 100% SCHD in my Roth IRA. I maxed it out for 2026 already. I opened an investment brokerage account and am going to do 100% SCHD in that instead so that I can live off my goal of 45k/yr on dividends and be able to access it before I’m 59.5 years old, I just turned 34 years old. I thought about selling all the SCHD shares in the Roth, but I think I am going to keep those at least until I’ve had them for over a year for tax reasons.

My question is, I’ve never been much of a growth person. Should I invest into a growth ETF in my Roth, or do individual stocks? I work a full time job so I can’t be watching charts, markets, and news all day.

I like the idea of individual growth stocks, but not sure which to pick. I know they’re more risky than ETF’s, but I’m willing to take the higher risk for higher reward due to my roughly 30 time horizon until retirement.

I appreciate any help!

How do I argue this?

So I hate Liberty safes, reason being, the whole scandal situation where they gave the cops/government the code to get into a customers safe or however the story went.

I said that to a safe dealer who was trying to sell me a Liberty safe and he said, “Well, even if Liberty didn’t give them the code, they were going to get into it anyways because they had a warrant.” Meaning that they were going to cut into it eventually because they had all the time in the world.

I wasn’t sure how to argue against that. Is everything he is saying true? Have we had misplaced hate for Liberty this whole time? Aside from this scandal, are they actually a decent budget safe, or are just still weak/overpriced safes regardless of the scandal?

Thank you for your time.

I’m new to MTG

A buddy a work has been talking a lot about MTG and I’ve always wanted to play, but never got around to it. This week I’ve been playing MTG: Arena and talking about it with him a lot at work.

I was thinking about going to the card shop up the road this morning to get my very first real cards. What should I buy? Starter kit? Hop on Facebook marketplace and buy hand me downs? Just stick with boosters? Should I get play or collector boosters?

Im not really into the Marvel set coming out next month, so should I just pick a previous expansion set I like or stick with the Main Line cards.

Please forgive my noobiness and I look forward to chatting with you guys and learning from you

Oh! And I’m looking for cards to play with, but also the rare/chase ones to collect/sell
