Val gets a lot of compliments on her looks so I figured I'd drop all my not so secret secrets on how I maintain her appearance. As a dog groomer I have an easy time making her shine alot but I figured if anyone was curious to any product reqs to try at home care Id share what I can.

Progress! I think?

First photo is the first time I stripped him, second is this time, third photo is all the hair I got off today. Shout out to his owners who have been very patient while I'm self teaching this 🩷 biogroom wire coat has been really helpful, hes a really gross boy and even after I bathe him his coat is still easy to work with

Chihuahua who likes to swallow toy pieces vs a "super tough" toy

If anyone has any toy reqs feel free to let me know bc this girl is a beast when it comes to shredding, so far its holding up but its starting to fray after a day 😩

Help searching for batfam fic

Lowkey starting to think its just been deleted but its a fic where Dick is raising the other 3 bat boys and eventually Batman finds Jason stealing the tires and then it leads to Bruce Wayne adopting them.

That's literally all I can remember so I'm so sorry with how vague it is but I'm gonna shoot my shot anyway

Why do some Wheatons have this terrible coat and what can I do as a groomer?

I groom two Wheatons from the same litter and one has this luscious soft flowing coat that never mats but this one's coat is so stringy and lifeless and constantly matted, Im just curious if theres any specific products or techniques I should be using to help it

Leaving Petco literally saved my passion and my health

Every day I groomed at Petco I was angry, I constantly got sick, my skin would break out, my hair was thinning, I know my grooms looked like trash cause everytime a dog would fight Id simply say "whatever get off my table" and give up, since I started grooming at home its been a 180. I can eat lunch, go enjoy the sunshine with my dogs, not worry about having to help coworkers who fall behind, if the phone rings I can let it go to voicemail, the dogs are calmer, owners arent asking why Im "so expensive", no finally getting a break and hearing someone walk in and say "nail trim. Just trim no buff but make sure theyre short" during their "happy hour", and I get to use whatever product is best for the dog. I wish it wasnt so stressful there because I loved my coworkers and boss but theres only so much they can do to lighten the mood when you still have to worry about a camera catching you turn your back to a dog or having to not eat for 8 hours. Im so glad I took my time to build this and I don't think I can ever go back.

If I wasnt going to use my compost for gardening could I put basically any food into it?

Im looking to start a compost bin and everything says not to add any fatty or cooked foods and while I dont eat much fast food or meat anymore I still do occasionally and feel bad when I throw it in the trash but I also dont want to chuck it in the weeds like I do my other scraps and potentially make an animal sick. So Im curious to why exactly you cant add meats and other stuff or if thats just what they say because it offsets good compost, but if I didnt plan to use the compost for my garden could I do it?

Thank you!
