Is the AC Deluxe mod playable in other languages than English?

I've been trying to make it work, but it doesn't seem to be possible. I'm just too attached to the villagers' french names.

How was Roger Jr in older Tekken games?

I want to play Roger Jr as a secondary when he comes out in Tekken 8, but it's my first Tekken game and I don't know what to expect from him, I just love his design.

So was he strong in terms of meta in the other games, and was he hard to learn? What was his playstyle like?

Why isn't the game "full" screen?

I'm trying to understand why modern 4:3 games like Deltarune, Undertale or Omori are not fully taking advantage of the vertical size of the screen. Like I know it would be stretched in 16:9, I'm not talking about that, but why are the upper and lower parts of the game not filling up the screen? Is it only for the inclusion of custom borders or is there another reason?

Sorry if it's a little off-topic, it's just a question that's been bugging me for a while especially since I'm trying to make a 4:3 game as well.

Not sure about a certain monetary choice

I'm going to release an RPG in chapters, kinda like Deltarune in a way, like each chapter gets released whenever I finish it.

I also planned to release the very beginning of chapter 1 in advance as a free demo.

Now thing is, I know I'll make it a one-time purchase, like once you buy the game all upcoming chapters will be "free", HOWEVER

Once chapter 2 releases, I kinda want to make the entire chapter 1 free retroactively so people can play it as a very long demo before deciding on buying the rest.

And I'm afraid the people who bought the game during chapter 1 will not like this change (it doesn't change anything, they still get access to everything and the price doesn't change, but maybe they'll feel like they were... robbed, in a way?)

I'm doing this because I'm really tight on money and waiting for chapter 2 to get some income might be hard for me, thus why I want to make chapter 1 free only retroactively.

I'm struggling to find a name for my game. (2D JRPG)

Hey, so I've been working on a game for a year now, and still struggle to find it a name. I'm afraid giving it a random cool-sounding english word will just make it blend in the rest, and I only really have one idea.

It's the name of the continent the game takes place in, Abasel. Now, thing is, I'm french, so I have no idea how people from other languages would feel about this title. I like how it sounds in french, but I'm just a little hesitant. What do you guys feel about the name Abasel?

It's probably a very personal question, I'm just thinking about it a lot and need to move forward instead of focusing on the very title.

For the record, it's a 2D "J"RPG which would more or less fit in the "Earthbound-inspired RPGs" category (or at least that's my goal). Dunno if it could influence the... Vibe? Of the name?

I made a bet with a friend, and I need to get to the God Of Destruction rank in around one year.

Tekken 8 is my first Tekken game, I main the greatly overlooked GOAT Leo, I have around 40hrs of playtime, and I'm currently in the Battle Ruler rank.

Anyways, my friend plays Tekken too, and we made a bet recently, he has to beat Dark Souls with like, 16 different controllers (he's REALLY good at the game, like really really good) (and I mean stupid controllers, not Xbox Series + DualSense + Switch Pro controller, no, things like Guitar Hero guitars) before I get to GoD rank in Tekken 8. He said it will probably take him 1 or 1.5 years to do, and thinks I won't get to GoD during that time. He makes it sound like it's basically impossible.

And I have no idea if it is, so do you think it's doable to go from Battle Ruler to God Of Destruction in 1 year, playing Leo with Tekken 8 as my first Tekken game and currently 40hrs of playtime?

If I don't manage to do it, it's fine! The game's really fun, I'll have fun whatever my rank is, but I just wanna see how feasible it is haha

My ex-friend sent me a letter to intimidate me

I'm tired. I've had this friend for like, idk, 13 years?

I've known him since childhood.

And 2 months ago, he randomly started yelling at me in our DMs because he was jealous that my YouTube channel worked better than ours (we had a common YouTube channel on which I worked as much as my own), and because he was jealous of a friend. Except he's been jealous of basically all my friends since I've known him. For 13 years.

One month and a half after that, I decided to write him a long message in DMs to tell him I didn't want to be friends with him anymore. I then blocked him everywhere, because I was literally scared of him. He has huge anger issues and is extremely toxic with his mother, friends and romantic relationships. Basically he was a scumbag, and I didn't want to see it because he keeps gaslighting people into thinking he's a good guy.

Long story very short, I received a letter from his yesterday, in which he told me to go fuck myself basically, and that it was "insane that you blocked me everywhere but didn't even manage to file a case for a rapist" (I was assaulted two years ago by a common "friend").

He also told me he wanted to get back his work he's done on two of my Discord servers on which I blocked him. This work in question is some images and music he literally has in his PC, and like, 3 sentences on a common story project we had. Story project which I intend to continue as a video game without him because he didn't do shit compared to me, aside from writing half-assed paragraphs skipping huge parts of the story.

I could go on, but I'm just tired because I was already physically scared of him, I even told him that before blocking him, and now he proves me that I was right to be scared by sending this letter and showing me he can do whatever he wants.

And now, I'm even scared of making that video game, because it was TECHNICALLY our common project, even though he didn't do shit for it. I created tons of characters, a map, a good chunk of the story, a fictional calendar etc, and I want it to be the work of my life, but now I'm scared, because if he knows I'm working on it, he might go insane again.

I'm just tired that I've ever had him as a "best" friend in the first place.

What is the best between 32GB RAM and 16GB RAM + a dedicated GPU?

I'm planning on buying a laptop for video editing, music making, Twitch streaming (playing almost exclusively old, indie or emulated games, I don't care about AAAs at all, I have a PS5 and a Steam Deck for that), and making a video game with GameMaker.

With my budget (1300€), I can only afford a laptop with 32GB RAM or 16GB RAM + a GPU, I can't get both 32GB RAM and a GPU.

Considering this, which should I prioritize between higher RAM and a dedicated GPU?

Can I stream with a 32GB RAM laptop without a GPU? Or do I ABSOLUTELY need a GPU?

I'm about to buy a laptop for streaming, editing, music and coding, and there's one I'm about to get, but it doesn't have a GPU. How detrimental is it?

I just downloaded Tekken 8 and need help to find a main

This is my first Tekken game, I don't know anything or any character.

I'll probably end up trying out every character anyways, but I'm wondering what you guys would recommend to me.

I love rushdown characters, I think my mains in fighting games are always rushdown; Fox in Smash Bros Ultimate / Teen Gohan in Dragon Ball FighterZ / Chie in Persona 4 Arena Ultimax / Fugo in JoJo ASBR / Blaziken in Pokken Tournament.

Just wondering who you guys think is closest to my other mains/my archetype.

My friend is angry because my channel is working

First, English is not my native language, sorry if I sound weird.

So, I have 2 YouTube channels. One for myself, and one in common with my friend. Both of these are gaming channels, and our content is relatively similar between the two.

My channel's more recent than our common channel, and I started working on it three months ago, and I seem to grow a little faster than our common channel does.

Thing is, two days ago he started an argument with me because I work on my own channel, even though I still work as much on our common channel as well. I also keep pushing our common channel on mine, by putting it on the ending screens, in my channel and videos' descriptions, etc etc.

But he apparently feels betrayed because I have my own channel, even though I wanted to have one for like, 4 years. I'm not abandoning our channel, just working on both.

And now I'm having knots in my stomach every time I post or advertise one of my personal videos, because I fear his reactions.

I don't really know what to do. This is somewhat of a vent post in a way, I'm just really confused. Thank you for reading.
