A sea of trash from Manila Bay fills the river in front of Baclaran Church in Parañaque on Monday, August 10, as heavy rains brought by the southwest monsoon caused debris to accumulate in the area. According to nearby residents, it was the first time they had experienced such a situation.

My priest told me it was a sin to dislike priests
I'm an older person and due to work, I have been a member of many parishes. Some priests I've liked more than others. But some I have not liked at all.
I didn't like their demeanor. I didn't like their homilies. I didn't find them inspiring. Maybe others did. I did not. I just went to a different parish.
Is it a sin to dislike a priest? Is there a canonical law or is this guy just making things up?

When does the defined benefit start?
My wife turns 65 September 1st. She is on TRS-3. We got a letter saying her benefit will start October 1st. Is there really a one month lag period?

I am an older traveler from the US, and have been to the Philippines many times. I found people kind and it has been enjoyable. I have an interest in visiting Siargao, but have read it is over run with arrogant Israelis.

Why is the peso weakening?
I track the baht, the won and the peso against the dollar. Only the peso is consistently weakening against the dollar. I wonder why?
