Was Mateo right in telling Amy “this is why people don’t tell you things.” when the whole Jeff debacle comes to light? It’s the episode where she sees him and Jeff kissing at the movies and starts wanting to tell Sandra that Jeff is cheating on her?
Personally I found that line extremely accurate, I liked Amy’s character (well, pre-manager Amy at least) but she was the WORST when it came to secrets, she couldn’t keep anything to herself and just made things worse.
Anyone else think Carol was actually kind of sweet before she went cray-cray?
I was watching the episode where Sandra made up the lie about dating Jeff and carol (ofc along with the rest of the coworkers) was excited for her. Loved the Sandra carol beef sm, and was on Sandra’s side, but I do think Carol pre-lobotomy was sweet asf.
Name Glenn’s worst moment. I’ll go first: forcing Amy to pump her milk in a utility closet because for some absurd reason he was uncomfortable with letting her use his office, even though she was forced by corporate to come back to work immediately after having a baby.
reddit.comSeems like Mateo should’ve just married Jonah when he offered as a solution to him being undocumented. I mean that is a serious opportunity. The ICE episode breaks my heart 😭
reddit.comThere isn’t a world in which Daniel deserves or is worthy of Betty.
reddit.comAnyone else love Jerusha’s character especially during the surrogacy storyline?
She was so sweet and supportive, in this scene Dina wanted to eat the flowers and Glenn said no and jerusha said “today’s all about Dina if she wants to eat the flowers just let her eat the flowers” and yes it is a comedic scene but she’s so sweet, she even went to get Dina makeup and an outfit bc she had a crush on the doctor and said “I’ve never been with a woman but I’d switch over for Dina”. 😭
Ik that’s not true and this is just for comedy but I loved her character overall.
Advice regarding lower body
Ive been working out at home and eating in a deficit over 5 months and I’ve decided I need to start taking muscle building seriously to build biceps, a back, etc. while still eating in a slight deficit and getting my protein in, so I started at a gym. I’ve gone from 67.4kg to 55.8 in around 5 months and I’m mostly content with how I look bf wise, just want things like visible biceps, abs (tho ik it takes a very low bf to see them lol), and especially a muscular back.
Here’s where my main issue is: I’m not someone interested in trying to grow their glutes or their legs in any way whatsoever, so I really don’t want to go there, currently I’m doing leg day just once a week hitting all muscle groups. However, my concern is that my legs are my biggest insecurity(I don’t like having big legs at all, in fact I realized I was almost done with the cut when I saw how much smaller my legs got), but I’m wondering if one day legs would actually make them worse since I’m not building muscle, but at the same time (and I am not someone who thinks lifting heavy makes u bulky at all lol), I don’t want to GROW my glutes at all.
So I’m feeling really confused on what to do, I currently do 4 days upper with progressive overload hitting all muscle groups twice.
Is one day legs okay?
Anyone else find John Logan’s book a bit boring? Didnt finish it.
Edit: am I the only one who found grace’s character a little cartoonish? example the random rambling about Ted Bundy when they first met is giving trying to be quirky
Sheila was a terrible mom and her and Mandy condemned Caren to a horrifying ending of being a brain dead sex doll for a pedophile.
There’s a LOT of Caren hate in the fandom (I personally understand her) but regardless of Caren’s personality and character here are the facts:
- She then allowed her to marry him and told her “I hope u see what a catch Jody is”
- Once Caren realized she wanted out, Sheila began a romantic and sexual relationship with her daughter’s husband/groomer/abuser.
- Mandy hit Caren with her car, rendering her brain dead, because she was jealous over her boyfriend (this is psychotic and horrifying irl).
- Sheila allowed Jody (a sex addict and groomer) to take her daughter to live in another state where she is solely at the mercy of a man who impregnated her as a minor and who she vocally hated.
Whether or not u like Caren is up to you, but u cannot deny the horrifying and disturbing ending she had, that’s a product of both Mandy and Sheila’s actions.
Edit: the fact that everyone is so heated about the spelling instead of the actual points I made is really telling lol.
Hannah Wells’ Trauma in Offcampus Book 1 (The deal)
TRIED TO POST IN THE r/books subreddit but got deleted by a bot immediately smh
First off, I decided to read the book after seeing edits of the show on my TikTok. I did love the book, so entertaining and interesting and funny at times imo.
I also liked the way Hannah’s backstory was handled, but anyone else feel like it could have been fleshed out more? I feel like it’s mentioned throughout the first half of the book, in a genuinely good way, like at some point Hannah realizes the rape affected her way more than she thought, but after a certain point it stops being mentioned in a randomly jarring way. Like for example, it never gets brought up in later intimate scenes although that is what her trauma is related to. How come after 1 good time she never experienced frustration, more flashbacks (which happened the 1st time), etc.
Literally the only other time it gets mentioned is when Garrett beats up Delaney, but between that and the first half of the book is a huge gap where it seems like the whole situation or storyline is abandoned.
Idk if anyone else here agrees, I just would’ve like to see how it affected her in other areas of her relationship as it progressed.
