Breakfast dog I concocted this morning, featuring leftover beer brats and Zach's Secret Hot Sauce (IYKYK)

Was trying to figure out how to feed myself using my sons' leftover eggs, considering we have no bread in the house. Found some hot dog rolls in the bread box and knew just what to do. Scrounged up some BallParks and beer brats from yesterday's grills session, and the rest was history.

This was actually an exquisite sandwich. My only regret is that I didn't take the time to put some avocado on there.​

Missed Earthbound fan connection on Roxboro Road during the morning commute

Obligatory "This is a long shot ..." but honestly this guy is probably on reddit. This happened this morning.

You: A black CR-V with a Frankling Badge and "MRSATURN" license plate

Me: A blue Maverick with a Chosen Four magnet

I was glad I could show you my matching bumper deco without causing a car accident. Sorry if I was driving like a loon, but I was pretty excited.

My only regret is that I didn't have this "Mr. Saturn on board" sticker installed. I literally designed and printed the thing this week, but I hadn't had a chance to put it on yet.

This was just supposed to be my *first* Independence Dog of the day before we headed back to the house for the real grilling. But we stayed at the pool all day.

My 3yo son put down three dogs at the pool. And was asking for more.

I'm still a little disappointed I didn't get the real session in today, but there's always tomorrow.

Duke Health "Virtual Assistant" is absolute garbage

It just keeps looping me back and forth between the "Virtual Assistant" and the scheduling menu. And there's all these disclaimers in between, before you get the menu.

After ten minutes, I just started shouting "representative" until I get a human. She transfers me to the "Pediatric" department, which is ... a menu that directs me to the Virtual Assistant and back into the same hellish loop.

I just need to schedule an appointment. Why can I not just call my son's office. What a dystopian fucking nightmare.

Bits where the group ends up siding with the character who's acting strangely

I love this sketch because everyone ends up siding with the initiator of the Unusual Thing. In the beginning he comes off as weird, talking about steering wheels flying off. By the end he's literally dabbing while they all make fun of Paul.
