Does anyone else remember when the devs announced they’d be adding a new travel location each month?
I wonder what happened to that, and if they’ll get back to it.

I’ve found that the Dance Party and Playground event items suit the vibe really well. I even added the gumball machine for fun. Here’s a couple ideas I have. 🤩
Not really a vent, more of a panic 😅😅😅 I’m not new to the field, but I’m new to the role of a residential supervisor, about 3 months in. It’s the time of year again where the state comes around a picks a few houses to fully inspect for licensing and wouldn’t you know it, my house got picked! 😩 I’ve been through licensing before but as a DSP and the last supervisor we had when I was still a DSP really sucked so I’m still working on cleaning up the mess he made of all the paperwork and everything, so I’m stressing out. Plus upper management has recently changed a bunch of the paperwork we use for all sorts of documentation so I’m trying to keep up with which version of a document is the current version and aggghhhhh…I feel like we’ll probably be fine, but I’m stressing out anyway. They’re coming next week starting Tuesday…wish me luck, I guess?
Did anyone else get to claim two soccer balls today instead of just one? 🤔
Or whatever it was called. In Bittersweet Symphony, Maya was supposed to audition for them, joining was apparently a lifelong dream and auditioning a 14 year old was unheard of, so it was a really special opportunity. Anyway, of course the tragedy with Cam happened the day of her audition and it was clear she was in shock and unsure how she was ‘supposed’ to feel, but she still wanted to do her audition and it really bothered me that Katie basically told her she wasn’t allowed to audition due to what Maya was dealing with. Maybe it’s just me and I know Katie meant well but if Maya still wanted to audition for this once in a lifetime opportunity, I feel like Katie should’ve just supported that.
I’m watching the episode where Asher wants Claire to *write an article about Eli’s play. Asher sends Claire to get him coffee (red eye, extra shot) and I was curious what kind of coffee that is. Apparently it’s a cup of coffee with a shot of espresso, apparently a red eye with an extra shot of espresso is actually called a black eye. I guess it would’ve been weird for Claire to ask Asher if he wanted a black eye, even if a ‘black eye’ 🥊 is ultimately exactly what he deserved to get.
Edit: *write, not ‘right’
which character(s) would you want to be the ones that connect the reboot to the previous generations?
Like how Emma being Spike’s daughter connected TNG as literally the next generation of Degrassi characters after DJH/DH?
I kind of wish the fact that Dallas had a son was a more significant part of his character. Not necessarily his whole character, but anytime there was a teen mom or a pregnant girl or even a pregnancy scare on the show, that aspect of those characters became a fairly well known part of their character, but Dallas having a son was like an afterthought. I know he had shared custody with the baby’s mom but aside from the episode where Alli finds out Dallas has a son, being a teen father doesn’t really seem to affect his life at all. He still gets to be a normal teenager just living life. Also didn’t that one character in the later seasons who was a born again Christian and played in a rock band ALSO have a kid? I feel like I remember it being mentioned to Grace when she was sort of fixated on wanting to lose her virginity to him.
I graduated in 2007 like Emma’s class, so that class and the grade above them are what I consider to be ‘my’ generation of Degrassi. Thats the Degrassi I grew up with and after Emma’s class graduated I feel like the show essentially ended for me. I’m mostly curious if anyone here thinks of the later seasons of TNG or even Next Class as ‘their’ Degrassi? Does anyone see the earlier seasons of TNG as the older Degrassi, the way people my age might see Degrassi Junior High or Degrassi High? Like, was Clare’s class or even Next Class anyone’s first exposure to Degrassi? I hope what I’m asking makes sense! I know there are a lot of people here who grew up with the same generation I did and some who grew up with Kids of Degrassi Street, DJH or DH, but I’ve not seen many people who actually grew up with seasons 10-14 of TNG or with Next Class. For any of you who did grow up with those generations, was the show a realistic depiction of life as a teenager during that time?
Before I got mine I was told she wears newborn or 0-3 depending on the type of clothing. I was excited because my previous baby was a preemie and preemie clothes are so limited. But now that I have my Quinbee, the newborn clothes I’ve tried on her are noticeably big, and there’s no way she could fit in anything 0-3, I haven’t tried, but honestly i just can’t picture it at all. Someone did suggest sure might be on the wrong body but I did confirm with the artist that she is on the correct body. Ugh, I was really looking forward to having more variety in clothing. 😩
I’m not gonna lie, I cracked up at this part. Like…why did they decide on THAT facial expression? 😂
‘I wish Nikki Freeman (can we talk about that last name though? FREEman??) loved me more than anyone else in the entire fucking world’ is a pretty intense way to phrase that wish….i wonder if things might not have been so bad if he had just said something like ‘I wish Nikki was in love with me’ or even ‘I wish Nikki had feelings for me’.
If Nikki snapped the one wish willow and then suddenly they both love each other more than anyone else in the world, how would that play out? Like would they both be happy since the intensity of the love/obsession is totally mutual this time? For the sake of this hypothetical scenario, let’s ignore the fact that if they both survived they’d both go to prison. Would them being equally obsessed with each other and matching each other’s energy for the the rest of their lives be just as dangerous as only one of them being obsessed, or would it just create an incredibly intense codependent relationship that definitely isn’t healthy, but also doesn’t result in anyone’s face developing an up close and personal violent relationship with a brick?
Has this happened to anyone else? It’s not the end of of the world, I know, but I haven’t missed a single daily adventure in the almost 4 years since I started so it would really suck to feel like I missed one when I know I didn’t lol
Yesterday I found the HomeSweetHolleigh/Red Heifer ARG on instagram totally by accident and some of the posts are so concerningly realistic that it would not be a stretch for someone to think that the main character is genuinely someone experiencing religious psychosis. If you watch a few more videos it become more obvious, but I’d love to know how people who create that style of ARG avoid people thinking it’s all real and getting authorities involved or something
