Original Introduction to MTV in 1981

45 years ago today was the official launch of MTV. It sure has changed a lot over the years but brought us countless music videos and introductions to music we may not have discovered on our own. Some entertaining shows too. Headbangers Ball!🤘

Those of us who are old enough probably remember seeing the launch and hanging out in front of the TV for hours watching this. Good times!

2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo Altitude

Hello. First time Jeep and SUV owner, coming from a 2014 Chrysler 300 AWD. One month in and I know it’s quite early, but really loving it so far. I know there’s mixed reviews due to the new Hurricane 4 Turbo engine. To me (and I’m no expert), it feels and drives like a 6, which was in the 300. It is very smooth and just a really nice ride. My only small complaint is it can be slightly sluggish when accelerating from a stop. Once it goes, it’s good. I love the roominess and the comfort, and the 4 wheel drive will sure come in handy in the winter. Has anyone else got one? Any thoughts?
