Themis MBE Practice Exam 2

I got a 73% on MBE practice exam 1. Today, I took the MBE practice exam 2 and got a 58% (average was 60%).

Should I be worried? I've been studying every day and felt like I was making good progress until today. I've been consistently above average on a lot of the practice sets so I'm feeling a little deflated.

SILA Exception - Confused about this answer

I am confused about this question and do not understand how this was a valid search under the SILA exception.

Search incident to lawful arrest permits a search of the person for weapons and their wingspan area of course. It permits the search of the automobile when either:

(a) The arrestee is UNSECURED and in reaching distance of the passenger compartment

(b) OR it is reasonable to believe evidence of the offense of the arrest is inside the passenger compartment

First, the arrestee was already placed in handcuffs. So she was secured and not in reach of the passenger compartment. Second, there was no reasonable belief that evidence of her unpaid traffic tickets was inside the passenger compartment. So SILA wouldn't permit a search of the car in these circumstances.

So, in my mind, that meant they needed a warrant to search the car or another exception would need to apply. The automobile exception wouldn't apply because there was no probable cause for evidence of contraband or the crime to be in the car, which is why I chose answer (D).

Finally, I also don't see how the good faith exception would have permitted a search of the vehicle. If they in good faith relied on the warrant for her arrest, that would of course have allowed the search of her person under SILA. However, for the reasons above, it still wouldn't have allowed a search of the vehicle, even relying in good faith on the arrest warrant.

Am i misunderstanding the SILA exception??? The automobile rules get super confusing and convoluted to me.

Is this normal 3 weeks after IPL laser?? Nervous

Hi! I got BBL laser on this broken capillary 3 weeks ago and this is today and the third pic is before. I feel like it's weird it's still so dark and red and big.

Broken capillaries still very dark over 2 weeks after IPL/BBL treatment

This is 16 days post IPL BBL laser on my broken capillaries. They looked normal for like a week and then it had some weird delayed reaction where they got dark literally a week after the treatment. Now i'm at day 16 and still have dark capillaries. Starting to worry it's not going to go away because most people online say they're bruising and darkness faded within like 7-10 days.

I have a follow up appointment with my laser lady a few weeks from now but just wondering if anyone has had this happen.

Feel free to read my original post here with more context and background as to what it looked like before treatment . https://www.reddit.com/r/Rosacea/s/eUlunk9mwa

BBL laser for broken capillaries - anyone have experience with this??

Hello! Very fair skin and have struggled with broken capillaries on my face. Often times, they are little tiny raised dot- but not what I would classify as a cherry angioma.

I went to a reputable plastic surgeons office and she recommended what I believe is called BBL or IPL laser to spot treat some of these.

I got 2 main spots treated. One on the tip of my nose, which bruised instantly after treatment. It immediately became purple.

The other one is on my upper cheek near my eyelid.
Before treatment, it was a light pink to red color that was slightly raised. Right after treatment, it basically looked the exact same honestly. Maybe less background redness on it but basically the exact same. For 6 days after treatment, it looks unchanged and basically the same. Then, around day 7-8, I notice it starts getting darker and maybe a little more raised.

It's now day 12, and it's a maroon, purple, huge dot. It almost looks like a mole. It's very upsetting because it doesn't seem like this happens to other people that often with IPL. I know it can still be healing but it's bizarre to me that it suddenly got larger and dark red a week after treatment, which seems highly delayed for healing. It's worrying me that it permanently damaged something? It doesn't hurt or feel like anything.

She told me 3 weeks to see full results so to be fair i have another week until then, but also she did not make it seem like the darkness would persist almost 2 weeks out.

Please find pictures with time stamps. Does anyone know if it's common for this type of darkening to happen almost a week after treatment and persist on into day 12?

BBL laser for broken capillary/vessel on face - 10 days out and more red

Hi ! I am very fair skin and have throughout my life had issues with broken blood vessel/capillary dots that appear around my nose and eye area. I decided to do spot treatment BBL laser at a plastic surgeon office near me that is very reputable and highly rated.

She told me it would take 3 weeks to see results and that it's normal for things to bruise or be more red.

A different one on my nose was just a straight up purple bruise, the other 2 were also red but have calmed down. However, this one on my upper cheek has seemingly been growing this dark red sort of blood clot looking thing. The other spots didn't react like this. It almost looks like a bubble of blood under the skin. The first pic is it today, 10 days post laser. The second pic is right after the laser. The third pic is what it looked like before the laser.

Thoughts? Is this a normal part of the healing process? Does the blood vessel have to like clot up blood before going away?

I'm NOT asking for medical advice just other people's experiences with BBL laser and broken capillaries.

Where can I find good quality of these?

There are a lot of cheap and crappy dupes of these. I'm willing to pay a little more (~ 50) if they are going to be actual good quality and look real

Water up nose sensation

Hello!

24f, healthy weight, no pre existing conditions. No recent head injury or any procedures.

About 2 days ago, i was looking down toward the floor and noticed that i had a very weird sensation of water going up my nose, like how it happens when you're a kid at the pool. I thought for sure either my nose was going to start bleeding or something was going to happen. However, all that happened was a drop of clear fluid like water coming out of my right nostril.

This has continued to happened every time I look down for more than 5 seconds. I get the water sensation, and then it's uncomfortable to the point i feel the need to look back up, and then a drop of water comes out of the right nostril.

I don't have any headaches or other symptoms right now. I haven't had any head injuries or procedures basically at all in my life.

I went to google and saw that this happens with CSF leaks. I know that the spontaneous ones are rare but my symptoms are freaking me out.I wish google didn't even bring this up as a possibility, but now here I am lol. I'm currently studying for the bar exam so it's just frustrating to be worrying about this now.

Has anyone had this sensation and watery nose drip that didn't end up being a CSF leak and was something else? Thoughts?
