The boy needs a new home

The boy needs a new home

We rescued him from ORR, already have a dog so we cannot keep both.
Anyone willing to adopt him?
All initial treatment has been done.

He is approx 1.3 years and is a golden retriever by breed.
We are not interested in putting him in a shelter hence any leads will be appreciated.

DOG BEING ABUSED BY OWNER - HYDERABAD

He’s always tied to a pole no matter the weather (rain, storms, everything). The owner has even thrown hot water on him multiple times. The dog just looks scared all the time.

I tried talking to the owner and even offered to buy the dog, but he refused.

I really want to help but I don’t want to do something illegal like just taking him.
What’s the best way to handle this in India?

  • Who can I contact that will actually take action?
  • Any NGOs or helplines that respond quickly?

Anyone has ever done anything of this sort?

Need help with my Continental GT 535

I am aware that this is not the right sub but i need some wisdom.

I’ve had my GT 535 since 2014. For almost 10 years I ran it on EFI, but recently I switched over to a carb setup. Since I didn’t have much time, I got the conversion done at a workshop — and as many of you know, finding a good mechanic in India isn’t always easy.
The conversion itself works fine. They fitted a 500cc Thunderbird carb (Mikuni wasn’t available), and the bike runs well. The problem is with the petrol tank — the workshop messed it up during the job. I’ve attached a diagram and video to show what was done.
The issue is that the nuts are directly in contact with the petrol, which has caused leakage and some rust around that area. It looks like there was no proper plate prep, the welding is poor, and I’m not sure if voltage was maintained since the beads look odd.
Rust is obviously a big enemy for machines, and I know this will only get worse over time. I have very basic tools, so I’m trying to find a simple way to avoid the problem. From Googling, I found that PTFE gasoline‑compatible thread tapes might help, and I was also considering using a copper washer as a bimetallic arrestor to reduce the leak. But I’m not sure how to stop the rust from spreading.
This work was done about a month ago, and while the GT is running fine now, I’m worried the issue will compound later. I’m also trying to keep a close person’s memory alive by keeping this bike going for as long as I can, so any help or advice would mean a lot.

I am sorry about the diagrams and videos as i did those in a hurry.
