I just finished my bead embroidery of Lucy’s Forever is a Feeling album art and I’m so pleased with how it turned out!
My bead embroidery of Lucy Dacus’s album art is finished! I used primarily 11/0 Miyuki delicas and stitched and finished it in a 8” x 5” oval hoop.
I’ve been having a blast with my bead embroidery inspired by Heated Rivalry!
These are primarily created with size 11 delica beads which lends the mosaic effect to the portraits of Connor Storrie and the in-progress Hudson Williams.
On the hockey jersey piece, I worked in a modified brick stitch to keep the lines neat and finished with a chain-stitch border.

It’s of Connor Storrie, one of the breakout stars of Heated Rivalry based on a photo in GQ magazine. I’m super happy with how well the mosaic effect worked for this portrait.
This took me just over a year on and off and used close to 20 thousand beads to create my version of Toulmouche's painting.
This might be my most mosaic-like yet!
