Subnetting an entire network is pretty darn stressful

Like, it isn’t very difficult, like at all.

But you really have to be on point with your math, at all stages

Having one wrong subnet means that the rest of your network will have the wrong IP addresses, and I found that out the hard way doing Jeremy’s IT Labs

Having one wrong subnet mask causes IP ranges to unintentionally overlap, and then you need to look closely to correct the overlap. I had a /25 subnet mask where I should have had a /26, which meant the IP address range was larger and overlapped with another range already on the network.

I realize everything that could have gone wrong.

Do they really expect me to do this much on the test, though? It isn’t difficult, just a lot to keep track of. I needed an hour of effort to get this done.

Yeah, I was doing Jeremy’s VLSM Lab.

When the devices finally pinged each other and sent replies, I was so happy.

I have come to the conclusion that Iruma was actually John Metaphor the entire time.

Blue hair

Persecuted Minority group, specifically by the organization that’s openly fascist and has an irredeemable guy at the top (Narnia Naberius/Sanctifex Forden) and also has another more sympathetic member that sides with our hero (Azazel Henri/Rella). (Also the persecuted group happens to be called Human)

Despite that, they’re technically privileged by virtue of having high ranking family and are a candidate for a throne

Helps a race of long eared people that exist to be at the bottom of the stratified hierarchy of the setting

Foster everlasting loyalty with nobles (Alice Asmodeus/Strohl)

One of their political candidates is a Social Darwinist (Belial-Berry Razberry/Louis) and another is a ruthless authoritarian (Leviathan Leiji/Rudolf Humulus Kraus).

The main enemy wants to create an anarchist society by driving everyone insane (Baal/Louis)

The previous king is actually guiding them along >!(Alikred being Delkira/More being Hythlodaeus V)!<!<

Also, probably doesn’t want to go to >!Shinjuku!< ever again.

There’s a lot more I could point out.

Hypothetical Scenario: Delkira comes in and makes the whole next Demon King thing a democracy, also this guy is the guy Iruma has to beat as the top contender.

Also included a suspiciously relevant photo, for those who know.

In Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Rex says that Tora looks like Poppi’s little Teddy Bear. This confirms that Teddy Bears existed on Alrest and thus Teddy Roosevelt is canon to Xenoblade, though it still doesn’t explain why he didn’t intervene when Bionis and the Mechonis were fighting.

So, did Takahashi have a relative executed via Electric Chair or something?

So he punished Electra by making her the worst rare blade in the game with useless abilities and a shield hammer (worst weapon type in the game)

Makes sense as an explanation to me.

Edit: Man I got roasted in the comments with the “Godfrey is worse” comments.

Who’s your favorite and least favorite “Grahf” character in the series?

I feel like Monolith Soft really can’t let go of Grahf when writing these games and as a result, he has successors in all of these games.

I am posting on r/Xenosaga, so Red Testament is kinda unique among the attempts to rewrite Grahf in the fact that he pretty much stays self interested and only helps our heroes in the end out of self interest rather than any sort of character change. He remains villainous to the end, but I think the similarities to Grahf firmly put him as the Grahf character for this series.

Despite this, I think it’s worth discussing.

Where was Randy Savage when Klaus was about to destroy the universe by touching the Zohar?

Couldn’t Macho Man have taken the bullet for humanity again, like he did before the Rapture Harold Camping predicted?

Take a break from all the shipping and powerscaling posts and it turns out Fujino Omori was owned by Atlus the whole time.

So it turns out the final floor is actually the ruins of Shinjuku, and the universe is actually a post apocalyptic earth again.

And then Finn declares to his troops: “What an adventure. This really was our Etrian Odyssey, wasn’t it?”

>!Come to think of it, this franchise’s concept is a lot like Etrian Odyssey, isn’t it!<
