Character designs I commissioned for my novel characters. JNMDoesArt on reddit.

Afrofuturism, superhero fiction, African fantasy and a bit of young adult hijinks as well. I hope to publish next year.

Any Zim arabic learners?

What are you using? I've tried the Kalam app which is so far a glitchy mess with audio pickup issues and the other choice Kaleela is so pricy you probably have to be an oil sheikh to afford the subscription.

All these jobless grads are a crime wave waiting to happen

And not just the basic kind. I'm talking sophisticated criminal networks that understand supply chains, digital exploits and skills otherwise absorbed by a traditional job market.

Just my thoughts.

Any Zim rock fans here?

It's weird enough being a black rock fan (even though black people invented the genre, the terminology the instrumentation everything) but a rock listener in Zim? Lightning in a bottle. What have you been listening to? This year I've been glad to discover:

Rivers of Nihil

House of Protection

Whitesnake

TV on the Radio

Hero the Band

Dead Pony

Ando San

Infinity Song

Boko Yout

My superheroine OC: Mole. She fights neonazi's over petty criminals

Inspired by Sister Night from Watchmen and also Spoiler from Batman comics. She has a unique weapon: a heavy duty torch that's also a tonfa and billy club. Art commission : JNMDoesArt

I made a mistake...

I found one of those *Hoedesia Facebook groups expecting to see some old white men trading stories but found it awash with self-hating black Zimbos romanticizing an alternate history where the name was never changed UDI never happened and we were peacefully ruled by His Majesty King Charles. I blame Zanu PF for this.
