DCEP application BMI

Hi guys.

I just began my application to join the DCEP with a force. I was having a look at the bmi requirements.

I’m not someone who is actually obese when you look at me, but a bit of fat and muscle due to going to the gym 3/4 times a week for a few years.

I am approx 5ft10 and weigh 88/89kg. I was worried if I go over the 30bmi what would happen even though I’m not “obese” per se.

Tickets question

I just paid for 2 seats to watch Toy Story this weekend. However I only received one qr code for both seats?

Is that how it normally is?

Recommend or not?

Wanted a hot hatch a bit different from the usual m140 golf R etc.

Thoughts on this. £278 a month. £2k deposit. £10k mileage.

Also wanted thoughts on the car generally too!

Question for the internal TA’s

I’ve been passed over for a final (one stage interview) following a call with the Internal TA.

The interview would be with the sales manager of the company (100 employees in the UK).

Do you only pass over candidates who you think are strongest? In the sense that, are there any consequences for you not handing good candidates over, or is it measured in any way

Do Day 1 players play Day 8 Monday?

Fortunate enough to bag Day 8 CC tickets this year. Really wanted to watch Sinner this year, but considering he will play Day 1 as the holding champion, will he play Day 8. I looked at the previous years, and Day 1 players never play Day 8 fourth round?

Assuming i will watch Djokovic, which im not complaining about.

My opinion on the murder of Henry Nowak as a British Pakistani.

Hi everyone,

Like many others, I’m deeply saddened by Henry’s murder, although sadly I can’t say I’m shocked. My thoughts are with his family, and I hope they can find some peace and comfort in time.

Over the past year, I’ve rapidly lost trust in both the police and the government. Increasingly, it feels as though they care more about themselves than the people they are supposed to serve. As someone who was born and raised in the UK, that genuinely hurts. I love England. It has given me everything – an education, lifelong friends, and a career.

The idea that Reform is simply a racist party seems harder to sustain after the local election results, where large numbers of people voted for them. Are those on the left really suggesting that such a significant proportion of the country is racist?

As a proud British-Pakistani, I want people to know that I stand with you. Keep going, keep pushing for change, and I’m confident that better days will come.

Let me know if you have any specific questions, and I'll try my best to answer too.

It's coming home.

Next Job Help

Hi everyone.

I'm 21 y/o soon to be 22 in the UK working in a small company with 3 sales people. I work in the SME industry, but essentially the financial services (without doxing myself).

I've been in this role 10 months, enjoying the sales aspect, but hating what i am actually selling. Like many, I want to go into tech in London, but every job i have found, wants 2-3 years tech/saas experience, which I do not have, I only have general sales experience.

What should I do to get myself into tech/saas with the experience i have so far?

Torn between which hot hatch to pick?

Looking to buy my first hot hatch, budget is up to 15k.

Insurance is not an issue on both.

Mostly looking for advice on reliability and general enjoyment. I know the M135i has a different engine to the M140i, so wanted some advice as to its reliability?

Golf R has been mentioned to me a lot, but again, not too sure on how reliable it is? I've attached two examples.

Overall, want something that is not going to have me going to the mechanic every month, but also something enjoyable.

Any other cars are cool too, so open to suggestions!

Both example cars have FSH, sub 80k miles, 2 keys etc.

For some context, i am working as an AM for a SME outside London. I want to break into tech sales, but all of the SDR roles require some previous Saas experience, which i do not have. My current role is not tech related, but is sales.

Essentially, for those in tech, where can i find the good opportunities to break into tech, with 1 years experience selling?
