I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong… the pearl always hits the bottom and teleports me down… is there any tips or tricks ya’ll know of to get it to work?

I’ve seen a guy dressed as a wizard holding a sign that says “Love is the answer” while driving in the area and if you’re here sir I just wanted to say I think you’re a pretty cool guy, and thanks for taking your time to remind us all of something very important!
