Completely dead today.
Conditions are absolute crap today.
Conditions are absolute crap today.
In reference to all the data centres they want to build in Alberta:
Be careful with A.I. It's wrong about a lot of things, all the time.
For example: I do a lot of work with antennas for communication. I spend real money on aluminum pipe and plating... not to mention fabricating/manufacturing the part.
Aluminum is really expensive right now.
A.I. will give me one set of mathematical calculations today, and a completely different set tomorrow. Nothing on the parts list has changed, nor the direct application of them. I test it with the same parameters today, and the same parameters tomorrow. Then I find both are wrong.
"That's not what you told me yesterday."
Then I use my own test equipment and show it that all its calculations are completely wrong while the actual physics has not changed a single bit.
Then it will apologize, thank me and compliment me for catching that. So then I ask it to stop stroking my ego... and then I ask it what I can trust it with, about anything, ever.
On top of that, I will ask it where in a menu this modification can be changed upon a piece of equipment -- only to tell it: that button does not exist upon this piece of equipment.
So, be careful out there.
It's wrong ... all the time.
Then I think about all these data centres the "tech bros" want to set up next to our houses, and I ask myself:
"For what? This incompetent garbage?"

Isn't St. Geroge's cross representative of England and by extension, the British Empire? Should someone tell them? If you're going to be a separatist, should you account for that little "foible"?
Some people think all fires in Canada are arson started by environmentalists.
I read there are approximately 900 fires in Canada right now.
I will just let this thread roll.
Business lobbied, bribed, paid off > and bought < the government to write legislation to make all this legal.
They bribed them, and the government took the money.
When is this going to occur to people?
Edit: this is not liberal > OR < conservative. They both like lobbyist money. They both have wealthy friends that pay them off.
Business lobbied the federal government to write legislation to flood the market with TFW (temporary foreign workers) all here on phony student visas. Now, all the big production houses (in my city of two million people) don't even hire full time people any more. They only hire sub-contractor crews filled with TFWs being paid minimum wage, and now they are all underbidding each other in to oblivion.
Now, the jobs are worthless.
But this morning took the cake: a guy is hiring for about $16 (USD) an hour for experienced people. But, he wants a lift ticket, fall arrest and first aid. This is training someone else's business paid for. That training is really expensive.
In my city, I used to give this 10 years to survive. Now I am down to 4-5 years. All the smart guys in my town are selling their business (to some sucker) and leaving with all the money they can get.
A delivery driver...for $33.65 an hour. You can't get a citizen to be a delivery driver >>>to drop off BOXES<<<for $33.65 an hour? I call bullshit.
In your painting business, would you pay someone $55,000 USD a year to drive a truck and drop of paint for you? Then, would you tell me you can't find anyone to work for that?
I am beginning to like the idea of referenda (plural). If some people can do it, then let's all do it and make a complete mess of things. You have to break a couple eggs to make a cake, right?
I don't care which side of the political spectrum you're on. You go in and cast a vote in a school gymnasium behind a piece of cardboard -and the piece of paper and pencil they give you- and your life will change instantly and immeasurably, immediately. Right?
Right. Now that "the other guy" is gone.
The master plan is: we watch someone appear on "thuh tee-vee set" for six months and we decide "this person matches my values, therefore, I will vote for them to represent ME in government". What happens the next day?
Yeah, you know.
So, here we go with a thing none of us ever looks at. "The Office of the Commissioner of Lobbying of Canada". So, if you have a business interest and you want to have legislation changed so it benefits you, financially, this is the place you go. There are other people and causes, of course. You want to save the polar bears and you want public money to do it... meanwhile, keeping one's self "actively employed" with public money, of course.
The first thing we need to discuss is how to play "nice". Naturally, we need a "Code of Conduct". Here it is. Go through some of that and see how many holes you can poke in it. Don't forget to "play nice and be honest". Keep scrolling, you'll get to the juicy bits (you could sail a battleship through) at some point.
https://lobbycanada.gc.ca/en/rules/the-lobbyists-code-of-conduct/lobbyists-code-of-conduct-2023/
"When you lobby — including the use of grassroots appeals to persuade the public to communicate with officials — act in good faith and take reasonable steps to not mislead with any information you share."
I dunno. Could you drive a truck through that? "Oh no, I promise to be nice."
Next, you're going to want to go through all the game players. There's a long, long list of "registered lobbyists". I'll just pick May of this year. If you're anything like me, you'll actually speak to your computer screen and say "Who are all these people?"
Don't forget to look closely at the name of the lobbyist AND who they're lobbying... sitting in the room with.
You're going to see a long list of "interested parties" and who the "interested parties" speak to (in government) and how many times the "interested parties" have MET with "stakeholders" (a nice word for "politician") in the last month, or the last three days. And if you're inquisitive, you can most certainly dig in to "Who are all these people?" and start searching around for their backgrounds and associations. Believe me, that hole gets really deep, really fast, and really suspicious.
Look at who the "interested party" is, what portfolio the "stakeholder" has -- you get the deal.
There are pages and pages of this stuff... and this is just May 2026.
https://lobbycanada.gc.ca/app/secure/ocl/lrs/do/rcntSmCmLgs?cid=45&dt=2026-05
Personally, I think this entire office (and exercise) should just go away. The whole damned thing is so shady I think the entire activity should become a criminal offense. Think about it this way: if this is on a federal level, and the legislation "interested parties" and their "stakeholders" write it, it could literally effect millions of people... like I say: this should be a criminal offense. This is not just robbing a liquor store. This is WAY bigger than that... and this is how the entire western world operates.
Not just Canada.
... and remember, I haven't even brought up municipal or provincial yet. I haven't even begun to bring them up, yet.
EDIT: And, here we go again with the down votes and comments. Go ahead and down vote. I don't care. If you believe this is how a "democracy" should run, then we can only deduce that "democracy" is not what you want. You are just exposing yourself as a dirty player.
Listening to propaganda is one thing. But, listening to propaganda - knowing it is propaganda - is quite another. It can be quite entertaining.
I have an 82 foot long wire antenna on my property. I can listen to short wave across the planet earth. The cool thing about that: I can listen to their propaganda or I can listen to our propaganda. But, at least I know both of them are propaganda.
Famous last words: "Theirs is propaganda... but ours isn't."
Cool. So, guess who's radio station this is. This is Kim Jong-Un's station from North Korea. As you can see by the meter in the photograph, it is peaking in to the red, sometimes plus 20. That's well in to distortion. Normally it goes from zero to nine. This is plus twenty.... across the Pacific Ocean.
One hour in French. One hour in Korean. One hour in English. Rotates all day long. Every_single_day.
This is as loud as a radio station located here in the city I live in. I live in the province of Alberta, in Canada.
What's my point?
Kim Jong-Un is selling something. He is selling "dear leader". He wants to keep it that way. He likes being in power. Right? It's pretty groovy being the king of everything.
"That's nice. What does that have to do with me?"
Television, radio and print media are businesses (they're all the same). They need money, or there's no TV station... and everyone can go home. That's where Nielsen ratings come in. Businesses want to see the ratings and demographics of stations and specific TV shows. Why? Because TV is in the business of selling advertising. This can be billions in revenue -- for the TV network. Therefore, the advertising revenue client wants their money's worth to sell their product.
Therefore, we can deduce -technically- the advertising revenue client is actually driving the CONTENT of the television station, and potentially that particular TV show... or the entire network.
So, you want me to get to the point, right? At your service, "Guvnah".
If a person tunes in to a broadcast that tells them everything they want to hear, they're a fool. It's been manufactured that way so he/she keeps coming back. That's where the money comes from.
So, If "Joe Blow" comes back with a "yeah but the other guy is bad"... what the hell do you think Kim Jong-Un does for a living?
>THE SAME THING< He even broadcasts it in English for you... or French, if you'd like.
The only difference is: Kim Jong-Un is "technically" the advertising client.
That's where KNOWING you're being propagandized is a "good thing". However, listening to propaganda without ever realizing > you are the target of it < ... is pretty brainless.
Edit: I just received my first down vote. Given the nature of this post, what does that tell you about the intellect of the person that down-voted? They LIKE being propagandized? They completely >missed the entire POINT< of the discussion?
This is precisely the kind of person that keeps "Comrade Kim" in power. They are easy to manipulate.

I don't know why I am doing this -- but I will try to help Pierre win an election.
I challenge you, Pierre, in public, to go on television (or in social media) every single day for one week. I challenge you to appear on screen and never mention "the other guy", once.
I dare you to do it.
Come on screen and tell us: 1) what YOU are going to do, 2) how YOU are going to do it -- and 3) how YOU are going to pay for it. No mention, no inference of "the other guy" whatsoever.
I don't think you can actually do it. I don't think you will last an entire week.
If you can actually figure that out, I doubt Alberta would actually have a separatist movement (EDIT: I don't think the separatist movement would have the traction it does now). I honestly believe you and your caucus are to blame for that. You've had three leaders in a row, three elections in a row -- fail. You are out of excuses, and you -and your caucus - are to blame for that.
"Yeah but the other guy" campaigns do not win elections.
I challenge you to make it through an entire week. Don't mention his name. Don't talk about anything he is doing. I don't want to hear anything about the other party. Talk about what YOU are going to do.
I don't think you can do it.
Pierre: I will give you -and your caucus- a long weekend to set this up. Three days. Start on Monday. I don't want to hear anything about the other party. Talk about YOU and your party aspirations.
I want to see seven days, starting on Monday morning.
I have become a snob. A real upper-class a$$hole. I already know how I am going to be flamed... and I don't care. I also don't care if you down-vote me.
If there's one thing I have learned in life about money, it's this:
"People who talk about money in public don't have any. People with real money don't talk about money because it is - literally - none of your business." That's when you KNOW who you're dealing with. The other kind -with money and talk about it in public- you wouldn't WANT to know.
They're sickening.
Example one: I like wrist watches. I buy what I like and I buy what is worth it to me, and I can afford, and suits my lifestyle.
For example: There's a lady who has a show on Youtube. I like her show very much, and yes, she profiles some VERY expensive watches. Some are over a hundred grand. However, I made a comment on her site one day: "None of these watches speak to me. I view buying a watch like going to a kennel to choose a puppy. You don't choose the puppy. The puppy chooses you."
That's the way it should be. The "thing" should be who YOU are.
There are some other guys in the diamond district in New York. I watch their shows too. They are so drug-addicted to money... they make me sick. I couldn't be around these people. There's literally no other reason to be alive for these people.
Wretch.
Sometimes they pull out one of these diamond blinged-out pieces of crap and I literally talk to my computer screen: "I wouldn't be caught dead wearing that piece of shit. It's so hideously ostentatious that it tells me all I need to know about what kind of person you are. I would only be able to stand you for about a minute and a half."
Example two: it's not just watches. Sometimes these repulsive real estate guys come up on my screen. "Just look at this stunning two hundred and thirty-six bajillion dollar apartment overlooking central park west!"
I look at this piece of shit and think to myself: "I couldn't live there. This place looks so "corporate", I feel like I should be wearing a business suit to bed. Wear a tuxedo to take a shower. Well, I'll tell you what: the chances of me walking in to that kitchen in the morning wearing nothing but my underwear to make a coffee are really, really excellent. I guarantee this will happen. And... there will perpetually be dirty dishes in that kitchen sink. I guarantee it."
Believe me. I am not jealous. I couldn't live in this dump. I would be constantly uncomfortable.
Here's the best part: We all just need to start ignoring these people. "Oh my goodness! What are all the people that have more than me doing today?!" It reminds me of a figure of speech:
"Keeping up with the Joneses."
In my sixty-one years of being alive, I have met lots of Joneses. Believe me, you don't want to know them.
"Do you like this painting on the wall?"
"It's worth one hundred bajillion dollars!"
"That's not what I asked you. What is it about this Georges Seurat painting that speaks to you? How does it reflect your personality and story that places you within this painting? What is in your heart and life about this painting?"
It's like a little bubble over their head goes... " poik ". It's like they don't even understand the question.
Prime minister Carney was a principal initiator in the establishment of the Defense, Security and Resilience Bank. It is a new initiative wherein countries can invest capital to produce loans to purchase military equipment, improve infrastructure (to serve military installations) tooling, manufacture and design of new defense products in keeping with the goal of 5% spending for NATO members.
The competition for the selection of which country would be the central location was a field of nineteen countries, which Canada was successfully awarded the host nation governing position. Notably, the headquarters was -not- Brussels or Washington. Interestingly, Belgium has publicly signed on to participate in this finance initiative. Brussels is the world headquarters of NATO.
Canada is assuming a larger leadership role in NATO. Canada is taking the responsibility of more heavy lifting which, admittedly, was remiss for several decades. As of today in Ankara, that has officially changed. Turkiye is also one of the founding signatories of this finance initiative.
Canada has circumvented Washington and Europe as the headquarters of this project. An aggressive posture, to be sure.
The amounts participating members are to invest are based upon the GDP of each nation contributor. The bank will also open the door to private investment in to the new loaning institution.
While still in the early stages of development (with eight countries fully committing) the bank must build up the credit in order to solidify the interest rate of loans to member countries. Its foundation is modeled upon the World Bank.
The design is to benefit the "middle powers" in a changing world of defense threats and initiatives.
Owing to the vote role being between nineteen nations - and only eight nations officially signing on so far - it appears to only be a short time before the other eleven take up the initiative, with the potential of more. That is the goal of this initiative. The more who participate, the more capital is available for loan. At this early stage (negotiations and host country vote held in April and solidified today), the amount of lendable capital is at $133Bn USD and growing. Naturally, the financial management of the bank will invest to grow the amount of available capital.
Let's not overlook how seriously this is being taken. Brussels in the capital city of Belgium. Brussels is also the world-wide headquarters of NATO. Belgium has officially signed on to be a participating member of the DSR Bank.
For an initiative of this weight starting in -only - April of this year, this is light speed velocity, circumventing Washington or European headquarters in the process.
Quote:
"The DSR Bank will be a multilateral bank owned exclusively by nation-states, designed to mobilise the capital needed to help like-minded allies and partners finance their capabilities for the defence, security, and resilience of the democratic world.
Built for scale and backed by sovereigns, the DSR Bank will address three critical challenges:
I took this photograph of my television set. I took this photograph of my own television set, personally.
The story on FOX was: "Trump was right about everything and NATO members are rushing to buy US manufactured defense munitions."
This story ran on FOX >the day after< Canada announced world wide that we'd just inked a deal to buy 12 submarines from Germany, the largest military procurement contract in the nation's history... >just the day BEFORE<. Trump can spew his BS and FOX will run his BS.
But, Canada and everyone else is not rushing to beg and do business with the US... and here's the media helping him to lie about it. If the money is on the table, nothing would stop a business from adjusting their manufacturing norm to build something someone is willing to buy. And, the biggest US military industrial complex companies have offices here, in Canada. They even lobby the Canadian government.
But, our relationship is destroyed by his big mouth.
We are also building 15 river class destroyers. They are being built here at home... with Irving, Lockheed Martin and BAE Systems.
It has been 19 years since the "flip phone" evolved in to full screen media-enabled mobile device. It was a technological triumph. But, it became so much more than that. It grew to rule the world, seemingly through "hypnotism".
The early flip phone was a simple tool for business and personal communications. One could use it as telephone or a device to send simple written text to to family, friends, colleagues or clients. The early iteration was a useful - if not limited - tool. All of that has changed. It has changed to a point where a broad political marketing message can be broadcast planet-wide. That message can be consumed by billions - across nations of people in mere minutes.
Humans and their reptile brains are naturally attracted to anything moving. It's Neurobiology as old as our species has existed. It's a hard-wired mechanism designed for simple survival instinct. If you see something move out of your peripheral vision, you will turn your head to see what it is. Is it a threat, or not?
This tens of thousands of years-old security mechanism has been a part of our species since the dawn of "us". On a primordial level, the only thing that has changed is: the transformation from "attention-grabbing" to "attention *demanding*", right there in your hand. It demands your attention. It OWNS you. You are its property. Whether our ego is insulted by this or not-- is irrelevant. It simply "is" and it works. Try it some time. Begin speaking to someone and wait for the sound of something happening on their phone occurs. If you're lucky, you won't be "dropped", mid-sentence... but you can see the urgency come over their face the longer you can stop them from rummaging through their pocket.
What a fantastic tool -- to rule the world. To create a "Group think" (Orwell).
Political figures are -now- are constantly on television and social media. >Constantly<. It is to that extent, I can be nearly certain unscrupulous political leaders can turn to their handlers and staff, yelling at them: "It's 9 o'clock in the morning. Why aren't I on television yet? I must be on a screen in front of people every_single_day, day and night."
I used the word "unscrupulous" because "The medium is the message". (Marshall McLuhan).
It's a beautiful distraction. A political message can be circulated world-wide in mere seconds, and there's a person on screen saying it. It will suck all of the ventilation out of the space between people's ears -- meanwhile, what ELSE is happening? Well, that's the beauty of it. Billions of people can be distracted by this and mountains of other garbage... and in that light, we can thank the Wizard of Oz, "Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain." (Victor Fleming, 1939). I think we can all agree: there certainly ARE people behind the curtain. The public won't know what levers and pulleys have been actuated until it's too late to complain about it, presuming they can focus long enough to stop watching the monkey and his banana on a tik-tok video.
This is a dangerous time. Our civilization evolved through the exchange of information. We used to engage with each other, even if it was just two people standing upon the street corner, waiting for the cross walk light to change. A moment like that used to be able to change lives. It could change the future of civilizations. It used to be a catalyst, even though it may not have been intended to be one.
Now, pulling someone away from their little hand-held universe in their hand is akin to being mugged on the street corner.
I am neither left nor right. It's time to evolve. Why? Because I don't believe anyone any more. Canada, the United States, the entire western world. It doesn't matter.
A politician came to my door. He presented himself as a person running for office in my riding, a Member of Legislature in the Province of Alberta. One of the most prominent moments of our conversation was him saying, proudly:
"I am an oil and gas guy."
My response was immediate. I said: "No you're not. If you are running for a position of trust in Alberta legislature, you are no longer an oil and gas guy. Your goal is to be employed by the public residing in this riding. Therefore, you are not an oil and gas guy... unless you are STILL an oil and gas guy."
Alternatively, I went to my Member of Parliament's public forum upon a social media site. This was the official page dedicated to her public position. I wrote upon her page:
"I will vote for you if you stand in parliament to table a legislative proposal making lobbyism (bribery) a criminal offense. Given your position as a Member of Parliament, any untoward advocacy directed toward you can potentially effect thousands of people in this riding, if not millions across the country. If there ever could be a criminal offense, this would certainly be one."
I was blocked from commenting further upon her public page... even though I am a voting constituent living in this riding. But it didn't end there. My IP address was flagged, preventing me from even going TO her page. Then I was removed -completely- from that social media platform.
In recent news, property developers in British Colombia have constructed some 2,200 very high-end expensive condominiums. The rents upon some of these units average between eight and over ten thousand dollars per month. Given the present economy, the property developer can't sell these things. So, now, the public is going to buy them and apparently, benevolently, the public is going to turn these expensive units in to low income public housing.
This is a private firm that did not have the business acumen to build product for present market conditions and tolerances. Therefore, YOU and I are on the hook to pay for it.
I could go on and on expressing issues like this over the last couple of days... or weeks, or months, or years or decades. I could tell you my personal home owner property taxes went up 21% this year, and low and behold, we're building an oil pipeline from Alberta through British Colombia to a sea port. Meanwhile, apparently, we could only find two corporate partners willing to invest 10% in to the construction of this pipeline to move their product. You and I personally, are stuck paying for the rest of it.
By now, I hope I have made it clear that I have -not once- said which flavour of the political spectrum I am speaking about. I have not said left nor right. I can assure you, it's both sides.
My question is: when are we going to EVOLVE? None of this works for you or me. If I could think of a word more aggressive than "corruption", I would use it.
It doesn't matter where -in the western world- you live. It is the entire western world. You can think of similar circumstances of this "Mafia" where you live.
All of this has to stop. Throughout history, it always has. It's only a matter of time before it does. The only question is: "how many people will die... this time?"
Nero played his violin while Rome was on fire. Do I have to go back further?
video, script above.
I was rolling through YouTube. Invariably, there were a lot of really brainwashed people using the word "Communism" without the first idea of what that word means.
"If you really, actually read Karl Marx on the subject of private property (alone), you would never use that word, ever again."
Upon a moment of quiet reflection, my mom died over 30 years ago. My dad died 10 years ago. I have no family left. Never married. No kids.
Christmas means nothing to me. I worked Christmas Day, Christmas Eve, Boxing day, the entire week until New Year's eve, I worked, New Year's day, I worked, and the entire rest of the year. I haven't had a real holiday in over ten years.
Then I read the comments of these brainwashed people, and I said:
"This is what you are fighting for? You have a family. I don't have anyone. You have kids and a spouse."
For me, I didn't care... because I never married, never had kids. I have nobody. I had a full paycheque over the holidays. But don't get me wrong. None of this is a "sudden realization" for me. It didn't just dawn on me this morning.
It's not JUST a question of being a stupid robot. The real realization is that the preponderant majority of these people will go through their entire lives --- and none of this will ever occur to them. And, their employer would dump their ass the second they found someone cheaper.
What's the best part? ALL of the people in management are divorced. They'll even listen to rich people on TV tell them "If you work hard, you'll get ahead".
I haven't had a holiday in ten years. What did I do? Just sit on my ass like a good little socialist?
That's terrifying.
The script for the video is posted above.
I have a speculative question. Well, part of it is speculative. The other part is guaranteed.
If Alberta were to separate, there will be supreme court litigation on the subject of dividing up the citizen's provincial contributions to the Canada Pension Plan. As you might imagine, the discovery phase -- alone -- will take years. The plaintiff and the defendant will bring every receipt and "bill of sale" since the creation of the CPP in 1965. This is just the discovery phase -- not the formal arguments. Each and every penny of citizen's provincial contributions will be argued. This would be, what? A decade of litigation... AFTER discovery?
Here's the best part: The Alberta government will have lawyers. The Canadian government will have lawyers. Who will pay the legal fees of those lawyers, on both sides? YOU WILL. You will pay for the lawyers to fight each other on both sides. And, the litigation will go on for -- I can only surmise -- at least a decade.
This is just ONE of the supreme court trials that will happen. There will be several. There will be a pipeline trial (which the transmission across provincial boundaries is federal jurisdiction) . There will be a First Nations trial (going back to the 19th century). There will be an Alberta's portion of the debt trial (going back to confederation).
That's the "guaranteed part". That's decades in court.
Now, I have a speculative question: let's think of the CPP trial like a "rough and tumble" litigation with a claim presented to an insurance company. You are suing an insurance company. Knowing how filthy dirty THAT can get, I have a question:
If you are in litigation with an insurance company, are they likely to pay you any portion of the settlement while you're suing them? Yeah, well... NO. Knowing how filthy dirty this could get, would the Government of Canada suspend Alberta payments from the Canada Pension Plan?
Is that possible?
I know much of this is speculation, but let's play a game. It's called the "let's make the lawyers happy" -- and rich -- game.
Generally, I try to give people the benefit of the doubt. But, dealing with separatists reminds of a quote from the movie Tombstone. "Jethro, I told you to keep that damned cigar smoke out of my face. Jesus Christ, I feel like I'm sittin' here playing cards with brother's kids or something."
I engaged some separatists on the subject of litigation. The expression on their faces led me to believe this was a guaranteed eventuality that hadn't occurred to them:
"Even if you get far enough for the supreme court trials to begin, you and I will not live long enough to see the end of them. We will die of old age."
"Trials? About what?" At that point, I didn't think I would describe the expression on my face, of... "incredulity". It wouldn't be worth the effort.
And when this does go to trial, you are going to pay for the province of Alberta's attorneys and the government of Canada's attorneys. Right? You're going to pay for both sides of the argument to fight each other.
What do you think of that deal?
Let's start with divvying up Alberta's portion of the national debt (roughly $170B). I am just going to leave all of us to think of the length of that shopping list and pile of receipts going back decades, since confederation. How long will -- just-- the discovery phase of that trial be? At this point, the plaintiff and defendant will just be whipping out receipts.
This is just discovery. We haven't even begun formal arguments yet.
What about CPP contributions? CPP would be a whole separate trial unto itself. What's Alberta going to do? Send out some gaslighting bullshitter (with some astronomical number ) like they did last time? They just dreamed up this number and Canada owes us half the entire pot? I don't even think the defendant would be entertained enough to laugh them out of the court room. They would be more irritated by the stupidity of it.
The best part is: these people have some notion Canada is going to just cut us a cheque and say "okay sorry, bye".
First nations: we're going to re-litigate treaties that were signed 100 years ago, or more? The numbered treaties are 1871-1921. You can believe every word of all of that is going to be dragged through court.
What about crown land? What about the natural resources deemed of national interest?
I can't get over these separatists -- not even thinking that no-one is going to sue for anything. Black cowboy hat guy is a lawyer for Christ's sake. As I said to my friend, growing up: "He's not a moron. He's a CROOK who thinks YOU are a moron."
And here's the best part: if all of this DOES go to trial, you're going to pay for it: you're going to pay the legal fees for the plaintiff AND the defendant. You are going to pay the province of Alberta's attorneys and the government of Canada's. Right? You're going to pay for both sides of the argument.
Here is an image of the division of lands within Alberta. Naturally, this would be subject to Supreme Court jurisdiction.
