Why doesn’t Jared do cons in July

Hi!
So I came across a reel about supernatural con and Jared wasn’t there, so I naturally went to the comment section to maybe find an answer and got one but I’m still confused. People are saying that Jared doesn’t do cons is July ? Is there any reason for that?

Most I found about it was that for this specific con he was absent because he’s shooting (while that can be true but doesn’t make sense for all July- if at all it’s true). Some say because it’s his birthday in July so that’s why.

I frankly didn’t know that it was a thing that he didn’t do cons in July (I live in a country where stuff like this doesn’t happen so I’m not super aware about it). So just wanted to know if it’s true and if so why that might be.

I love supernatural

This is like the best show ever. Season 1 is fav and I’m so glad supernatural exists it’s dumb but I’m so happy about it 😭😭😭

God bless Jared and Jensen and Eric Kripke

I’m glad that this show is a thing. I’m glad this Reddit thread is a thing I love y’all and I just love the show❤️

I’m just being nostalgic but the clothes the songs the vibes everything about it is great. I’m glad that somewhere Sam and Dean exist. And I know I sound dumb and cheesy with I’m just happy that Supernatural is a thing.

I’ll always love this show and always love the wichesters (Sam❤️)

Random Doubt about Witch Sam

SPOILER AHEAD ABOUT SEASON 15!!!!!!!!!

So in season 15 post Rowena’s death when Sam becomes an honorary witch.

I thought you needed to sell your soul to Demons and Stuff ( as indicated in earlier seasons - first time in S3 when we realise that demons are infact human souls). So how did Sam’s witch spells work? Were they just normal spells? But I’m pretty sure some spells were from book of the damned.

Like obviously there are tonnes of spells that work and you don’t need to be a witch for that, but since he was doing Rowena’s spells I’m assuming it’s something only witches could do.

I’m sure I might be forgetting something so wanted to ask

Also at this point I’m just thinking toooooo hard about it but I still wonder sometimes.

EDIT : yessss this is what I had missed. The people who sold their souls to demons were borrowers! The 1 out of 3 categories

Does that means Sam was a trained witch

What are the episodes that you refuse to watch because of how heavy / emotional they are

So I was on my SPN rewatch and as I got closer and closer to season 5 I just found myself watching random episodes than just continuing the rewatch.

I can never ever ever watch Swan Song again because it just breaks my heart. I just can’t do it, hell i won’t do it!

Same with series finale Carry On - again a big Nono, I’ve not even watched it once (I’ve watched it in bits an pieces on different occasions but never from start to all the to the end in one go)

Third on the list is when Ellen and Jo die - again a hellllllll no. Once was enough

So I was wondering what episodes do you normally avoid because of how intense/ emotional they are!

I feel there’s no hope

I was fired from my job in February and have been unemployed since. Just paid rent today. Bills are just racking up and I don’t know what to do. I know I haven’t been well for a long time( TW self harm) but everything seems just too pointless. All energy goes into not doing something to myself but I feel just too exhausted. Everything requires energy and money and I don’t have any of those things. I just want to close my eyes and not have to open them ever again.

I feel like I’m running out of time to fix myself. Everyone out there I know is getting married, buying houses, making start ups, travelling the world, loving their job while I feel more and more like a loser every single day. I hate myself

When the Mind wall breaks

Trying to keep the title as vague as possible so I don’t get flagged.

I find it so interesting that when Sam starts hallucinating lucifer it’s in Nicks form. While I realise that’s how he saw him before saying yes to the be lucifers vessel but I still wonder why it was it was Nick. Wouldn’t it be more screwed up if he was hallucinating himself as lucifer? Or anyone else like John, Mary, Jess, Yellow eyes, Joe, Ellen. (Even Dean or Bobby)

I understand it wasn’t actually lucifer torturing him through the cage but is own mind / cage memories - so it’s kinda insane that he manifested Nick (earth memory) and not himself or anyone else that he loved ( assuming that lucifer tortured him with the faces of his loved ones)

Question about Lilith

Hi guys. I’ve recently started to rewatch supernatural and am currently on season 3. While I was stressing about what’s to come in the next seasons I randomly had this thought - the boys would’ve still killed Lilith even without the Ruby arc right???? I mean I know Ruby was manipulating them by making Lilith the big bad villain to get them to kill her and break the seal. But I still think they’d have eventually killed right? But then maybe not? Because if Ruby wasn’t there they wouldn’t have the knife or Sam’s killing abilities so maybe not?

What do you y’all think? I feel that they’d still eventually would’ve killed her with or without Sam’s demon blood powers and broken the seals any way???

Am I missing something? Or would it be possible

Edit : I guess I posted this because I keep seeing that people still believe that Sam started the apocalypse and it was his fault (canon theory in season 5, I also see a lot of people do infact believe it after all this time).

I’m not talking about the morality of Sam’s actions - I feel it was very inevitable that Lilith had to die, especially when you consider that the apocalypse was a joint effort of angels and demons ( not bringing up the S15 CHUCK plotline at all). So even if Sam hadn’t been influenced by Ruby, then it would’ve have been the angels? And even if not the angels Lilith herself WAS killing people and WAS a threat so they would’ve killed her anyways. Maybe it would’ve been Dean and not Sam, but I just think it was inevitable.

Filmmaking ruined films for me

One of the things that’s not talked about is how filmmaking ruins the experience of films. I was a hardcore fangirl, a fic writer and reader. I had some very bad mental health spells and I turned to movies and TV shows for comfort—that is one of the major reasons I got into the film industry. (I am a script supervisor) However, I can never enjoy a movie or a show the way I did before, and it’ breaks my heart to pieces.

Imagine it this way: you loved going to magic shows and were so awed by them that you became magician . Now, when you go to someone else’s magic show, you just end up appreciating the intricate trick behind it or the magician who thought of it. But you’ve forever lost your ability to see the actual magic in the show. All you can see is an intelligent magician’s clever trick.

Season 1 to 7 : People don’t talk enough about Sam’s bodily autonomy

I recently started watching random episodes of supernatural again and realised how little of a bodily autonomy Sam has had. Even before he was born he was promised to Yellow eyes. After that he never knew his mother and grew up in an abusive household. When he runs away in season one and makes one friend for the first time it turns out to be a demon. Dean brings him back from the dead fully knowing how he felt when John did the same thing for him. He grows up with demon blood and the whole psychic thing, getting called freak and living with the knowledge that John had asked dean to kill him if push comes to shove. Later lucifer tells him that even in college he was surrounded by demons. Then he jumps into cage, while I fully understand that being in cage with Lucifer, getting tortured forever is a horrible thing, Cass brings him back only to have no soul. Then runs soulless for a year, has his soul put back into him when he didn’t want to and then hallucinates Lucifer. Feels like over 7 seasons of supernatural Sam had absolutely no say about his own body and people kept making decisions for him that were not theirs to make.
