Anyone use the Milwaukee m18 inflator?

Has anyone used this much? I already have a bunch of 18v batteries and charger set up in the ute

Current compressor has shat itself so looking to either go this for $280 or the arb twin for $800

Just seeing if it actually works ok for pumping up multiple 35s or just a gimmick, most of the reviews look more like advertisements instead of actual reviews

Cheers

How much would you pay for a turbo diesel v8 single cab?

Hey guys, anyone looking to import a diesel v8 landcruiser single cab to USA when they’re eligible in 2032?

Or would you wait til 2037 for the dual cab?

How much would you think they’d be worth? Most are around 300,000km travelled now

Why does the RTA not cover owner occupiers that want to rent out rooms in their PPOR?

As I understand it, the RTA does not cover agreements for any less than 4 rooms being rented out in a house that the owner occupier also resides in.

These agreements would come under boarders/lodgers and any disputes would need to be handled through common law instead of through the RTA.

This has definitely stopped me from renting out available rooms in my PPOR and I’m sure has stopped thousands of other rooms being available in similar circumstances

What is the difference between renting 2 or 3 rooms compared to 4 in the same dwelling? Why does the RTA only become involved then?

Do you think this should be changed?

Is it even worth buying anymore? Renting is so much cheaper

So someone posted this house this morning.

Not going to post the address because I’m not advertising it.

But $750p/w rent

The place is worth around $1.4m

The mortgage payment on that is $1800p/w

So even after receiving the rent, the landlord is still out of pocket $1000 per week

Maybe renting is just easier

Do you know who your local MP is?

Hey guys, thanks for all the input on my previous post. I’m actually enjoying the education haha, this politics stuff is new to me so I appreciate your comments, positive or negative.

Sorry I have noticed my posts are long so many will just read the top line and answer based on that so I’ll try to keep it concise this time haha

One thing I found from my last post is there seems to be a divide between people who say vote for your local representative vs. people who say just vote for the party policy.

In theory they should effectively be the same, but do you think that gives an excuse to MP’s or candidates to rest on their laurels?

If people are just going to vote for a predetermined party based on the national policy put out, doesn’t that just let them toe the line and fill a seat and not have to do much since the policy is what’s voted for, not their actions?

One experiment I think would be interesting would be if ballot papers only had candidate names, not their party. Do you think you could vote confidently?

I think it would be interesting and maybe force people to actually research what their local member is actually doing for their community.

Also I’ve noticed this is quite a politically educated sub from what I have seen, do you think the answers would be the same for the general Australian population?

Thanks if you read to the end haha. Sorry again

Do you truly not vote for your preferred Prime Minister in a federal election?

So during a great conversation yesterday, it was pointed out to me by many on here, that apparently most Australian voters do not have any interest in who becomes Prime Minister? Only for your local member?

As one person put it “only people in Grayndler voted for Albo”

Apparently it is very common to vote only based on who your local member is? And the leader of the party has no effect at all on your voting preference?

So if you prefer the Labor leader as Prime Minister overall, but you prefer your local Liberal member over your local Labor member you’ll vote Liberal instead?

Is this actually true or a bit disingenuous?

You actually vote with no interest at all in who will be the Prime Minister as long as your preferred local member gets in?

How many people actually know who their local member is? My local electorate is a place I’ve never even heard of

If nobody is “running for PM” then why does an “election campaign” exist? They are hoping to win your vote over another potential PM candidate

Any opinions?

What is this subreddit about?

Hey guys. New here, just wondering what this subreddit is actually for? Based on the name I assumed it’s for just general posting about stuff going on in Australia or nostalgia or whatever?

Just wondering why I keep getting posts deleted lol. Or is there an off topic Australian chat reddit or something lol

Picture is of a funny interview with the grumpy cat lol. Actually the peak of Australian morning show entertainment in my opinion

How long until Karl announces he’s running for PM?

Obviously not next election but I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s heading that way for the one after

Will we see the same results as America where people will just blindly vote for someone they’ve seen on tv?

Is there a way to find out who has reported you for suicidal thoughts?

Is there a way to find out who has reported this? I am in no way suicidal, not even any jokes about it?

Why would someone do this?

If u/MannerNo7000 starts a topic don’t bother replying because he’ll just delete it. Time wasting karma farmer

Not sure why he keeps doing this?

So purplepingers basically just made up the story of 4000 ray white employees being made redundant

Anyone else got any credible information?

Commercial realestate unaffected by budget changes?

Should we just invest in commercial realestate and hire out ‘office space’ for young professionals that work so hard that they need to live full time in their ‘office’ to get the job done.

This post is satire btw for anyone that didn’t get it

Has anyone’s rent changed since the new budget? Did it go up or down?

Has your rent gone up or down since the new budget dropped? Anyone due for renewal soon? Which way do you think it’s gonna go?
