I’m going to be trying to get at least one of the peach riot siren figured this thursday, but i’ve never gone through a pop mart drop before, especially for something i know is sought after.

I got her secondhand like a year ago, already out of box. Her hair is in good condition, thought it is my opinion that she could benefit from a glue hair cleanse, i think the glue is trying to seep through again, but just barely.

I love suki and luna so muchhhhh they’re so pretty! I thought i wouldn’t like suki’s pink accents but i like them a lot irl!
And i just love luna, her vitiligo marks are beautiful! The little hidden fairies are such a cute touch!! I do wish her shoe “straps” fit a bit better but that’s it.
I don’t think these two have any bald issues either, it’s weird that amora has had such an issue with that.

When I started getting the posts about power chords I got so excited! I love the Greek myth inspiration, so I just had to get them! I really liked every figure, so had to get a full flat. If I really like a chase ofc I hope I pulled the chaser.
After I saw my delivery notification, my day at work passed by at snail speed, but finally! home to unbox and I got the underworld figure!!! I was so sure I'd have to pay an arm and a leg second hand for her! it was at the cost of having to get a poppy the beauty figure second hand, but the price of that compared to a marked up chase figure is a good trade off! I took box weights for all the boxes as well, since I have one at home. In store obviously using a scale might be iffy, and you could get told no but, you can at least try if that's something you want to do. I've included a pic of the box placement, and again the weights of each, in grams.
Gig the underworld, wasn't the heaviest, as I thought it would be. poppy the sea, frankie the forger, and frankie the harvest were all heavier in weight than the underworld.
I did have one figure come out of her box busted, it was the messenger gigi, but her hand did stick back in and stay. I just hope the rest of them stay intact.
Lastly, I tried to show off the difference in the cards with each figure. the chase one had a heavier weight, and was thicker than the others. the peachriot logo was foil, and was overall nicer than the other cards.
The mattel demon jinu finally has a release date! No price point yet, but he is up for preorder tomorrow (6/18)!!!! Can’t wait!

I posted i think a week ago now, about my mom who had a potentially infected hip. She had a total hip replacement. She is late 60’s, about 260 lbs. (please don’t make it about that weight unless you think it is relevant) and she has metastatic breast cancer, she’s on a drug called enhertu. Her oncologist says its not chemo, but if you look it up, the searches say its chemo.
This morning they went in and cleaned it out. One part of the protheses was removed since it hadn’t attached to the bone, and the other was not removed as it had attached. Samples were sent for testing
Before they went in, her hip was very swollen and they said it had been a seroma (im not sure if i spelled that correctly) and they used one of those wound vac things to remove a bit of the liquid from it while it was still closed.
I’m so worried about it remaining infected even after they went in and cleaned it out. Has anyone else here had an infection persist after the doctor reopened it?

She initially, was doing really well. Getting up and walking, doing her exercises, the works.
Her incision started producing a bright yellow liquid, and then it got a bit red over this past weekend. She said it started to smell but I hadn’t smelled anything. So, she met with her surgeon this Monday, and they said well, we’ll get you in this coming Monday to clean it out and all that.
We happen to have a long time family friend who is a retired ER doc, and they said go to the ER that night (it was tuesday night)
After how dismissive the original surgeon was, my mom has said she would like someone else to work on this issue, but i know a lot of the time, the original surgeon is the one that does it. But he also doesn’t seem to mind that my mom may potentially have an infection? He over all has come off as very dismissive of what’s been happening.
My mom has been in the ER since this last Tuesday night, and they have essentially given her no answers. “Your white blood cell count is normal” is essentially the only real piece of info we have. She has said several times, to multiple people, that she does not want to work with that original surgeon anymore, but there is a (dr)woman, who is also pretty dismissive, that works in the same practice under the original surgeon, who says another docs names in place of the originals when we press her, but we have both had a sinking feeling this woman is just communicating with the og surgeon.
Her hip/ upper leg, is obviously swollen with some sort of liquid, her wound is red, and I feel like these doctors aren’t listening.
We are at an objectively great hospital where we live. But it feels like this team of doctors isn’t listening to her concerns, and i don’t know if it could be bc of her weight, or what but, i’m at a loss of how to help her, and I don’t know what to do. If it is relevant i will give y’all the info about the area i’m in.
