I simply don’t understand why this is considered a default neutral mode when the strategic depth often doesn’t dip below “sit in the corner and press R3 approximately every 20 seconds” either make the zone move, give us the ultra signal or admit that this mode doesn’t work in its current form.

Even more agressive strategies involve pretty much just pushing with zones cheese. Even at high levels.

Stop for the love of god killing bosses next to the fucking water. It helps fuckign nothing for us to have to fish the egg from fucking narnia. Please please please manage the wave near the water and lure the bosses inland towards the basket.

If I have to lose another run because someone dies in narnia trying to solo a horde of bosses while banking 3 eggs during the entire wave I’m going to pop a blood vessel.

I swear every teammate I see in RM CB or even TC and SZ doesn’t know how the objective actually works enough to properly play the mode.

Like, maybe have a tutorial for each that explains in detail why or why not you’d use X, Y or Z in most cases just to at least not have teammates who

- cant reset the rainmaker mostly because they don’t know that it exists
- can’t turn around when a teammate dies,
- don’t realize that fighting for mid means nothing if you can’t take the tower back,
- don’t even even touch the tower.
- or even don’t know things like passing clams even exists?

The game would be significantly more fun if we had systems you were REQUIRED without question to play before you start playing ranked.

If the maps are gonna be this bad, and the modes are gonna continue to have serious flaws that result in map mod combos getting permanently banned in comp; it’s time to ditch this broken system.

It’s poetic and almost ridiculous that you can queue for a rank up battle and get exclusively a map that is banned in competitive(bluefin TC) for good reasons 7-10 times in a row without fail.

Also given HDS(which IMHO is one of the largest mistakes they’ve made in years) and the fact that S3 still has kits that never realistically get touched due to being almost totally non viable, it’s time to sunset that too.

I also need a fucking ping button because holy shit this fucking game’s solo queue is impossible to play without one…

(I say all of this as a person who’s been playing for 10 years)

Edit: this is also a large part of the reason I have t left A rank in 3-4 years. I have had 0 motivation to even touch series in that time because these mechanics completely kill the experience of taking anything seriously at all. Combined with the fact that players literally can’t rank down makes me wonder what the point of the queue even is if I can just play open and get better against objectively better players than I run into in series queue.

Like sure some of that is skill issue but like even with that If I had any care at all for the last 4 years I’d be like s+5 or something. But I hardly care at all because the times I’ve cared I’ve been like “what the fuck is the point?”
