Clothing donation spots that aren’t Goodwill

What are some places that accept clothing donations in Chico? I’d love to find places to donate that make a positive impact in our community. Goodwill isn’t it.

Are there any middle eastern markets in Chico or surrounding areas?

Does anyone know where to get orange blossom water, mastic gum, taboon breads or Arabic flatbread (I’m not looking for naan), maftoul, labneh, molokhieh…

Any suggestions for markets even outside the area a bit would be greatly appreciated.

How early should we leave Truckee to catch a 2pm rental boat launch time at Captain's Corner Tahoe in the Tahoe Keys Marina & Yacht Club, factoring in time to find parking and arriving at the launch at least 30 minutes prior to the 2pm launch?

We rented a boat and we don’t want to be late. Our Airbnb is in Truckee and although Google Maps says it only takes 1 hour, I know Tahoe traffic can get crazy and parking will likely take a while, especially because we’re taking two cars.

Additionally, I’m thinking if we leave early in the morning then we would have some time to hang out beforehand and wouldn’t feel rushed. However, it looks like a lot of the beaches there are private, so I’m not sure what we could do that is within distance of where we would be parking. I wouldn’t want to abandon our parking to go somewhere else and then try to find parking again. Any suggestions? I hate to be late and so I’m leaning more towards this idea.

What does “DB” mean on this old septic tank drawing from 1964?

So the drawing shows septic tank (labeled “ST”) but then it shows it connecting to something labeled “DB.” The two leech lines are not shown as coming out from the tank itself, but are coming out of whatever the “DB” is.

How worried should I be about putting my Costco above-ground pool over possible septic leech lines?

I bought a Costco pool and we have a septic. I obtained the old septic blueprint plans from the county but they aren’t drawn to scale and it’s hard to read and understand.

Having a septic company come out will cost more than the pool itself. I’ll do it if I have to but I’m wondering if this is even worth it.
