I just want to announce and alert everyone who comes across these scammers. Portraying themselves as unlocking any phone. I fell for their tricks and spent more than 200$ already just to get my iPhone unlocked. They have set a bait fee of around 25$ to lure you. After which they will further ask you to pay additionally because the 25$ was meant for checking some bs. I was told I needed premium service to unlock my spectrum from USA. That service was 174$. It took me days to raise that money. I told them what if they fail. They told me it covers a refund. I paid later on, and within two days they came back slapping me with another 200+ bucks for some stupid reasons omg. I immediately requested for a refund because they told me if they failed to unlock it while I have paid for the premium service, I will get a full refund. I’m surprised how they used to chat me anytime I send messages but after I requested for refund, it’s been three days already and nothing! I only saw an email informing me that my money has been refunded as credit note. Credit note? Hell !!! Ignore this #DIRECT UNLOCK when you come across them.

This whole stuff is getting me worked out. Can someone just tell me all I have to do from step one to the bottom what I should do as a uber/lyft driver?
I don’t know when or how to file my tax. I’m just new started driving. The insurance company I signed up with, just realized that, they said they don’t cover me when driving uber or Lyft because the app does that themselves. They will only cover me when I’m not on the app. Meanwhile I have been paying over 500$+ monthly. I’m just confused. I have no one to educate me on what to do as a new comer in Canada who has just started this business. Feel like giving up already.

I started driving Lyft not long ago. I came here for advice as to how to drive safely. I have been following the speed limits. But I have realized that other drivers are aggressively angry at me. Honk at me etc. I keep wondering if they are right and I am wrong 😳
I hardly come across rideshare drivers like me on the road going the same speed as me.

Please I have realised that anytime I use the toll route , the reimbursement I receive from uber/lyft is not up to what I am being charged. Who pays for the difference. Please advice a new driver

When you accept a trip request while completing another, but the rider cancels the request along the line, does that also affect CR?

The speed limit always makes me kinda feeling sleepy when driving. Does going above the speed limit really matter?

Am I the only one experiencing this? Is it the best to visit the offices of uber/lyft to sign up as a driver or it’s okay to chat via support through the app and get all your documents approved?
Different agent with different ideas any time I follow up. They will ask to wait 3-5 business days. After waiting new series of stories will be told by another agent when I chat back. It’s very frustrating. I was able to go ahead with the back and forth with uber and gradually they approved me for Uber Eats. They said my license history is less than 3yrs so I can’t accept ride. I waited for the license to be three years. Contacted support and it seems like I have to start the whole process again. Doing safety again. I’m seeing background check needs attention. Yet I contacted support and one agent said he’s escalating. What’s going on at all.
