we need a therapist in season 5

we need a therapist character or someone working in psychology to come into season 5. i think the characters dealing with their traumas (ive seen a theory saying they’re chosen based on trauma) is a step towards freedom? open to hear your thoughts

this looks familiar…

found it on an instagram page from a post about czechia. could these be related somehow to czech culture/folklore? they look awfully similar to the ones they found in the woods

how do you make the gameplay more interesting without gameplay mods

no i cant dwonload any more packs, for some reason theyre not available for me. the scenarios are boring, my sims just do whatever and its hard to actually feel like they have a purpose

hopefully this doesnt get taken down pls mods

i know this is not a debate post, but i came on this subreddit asking people to disprove islam for me. and i just wanted to come back and thank everyone on this subreddit who took the time to educate and enlighten me and didn't attack me for trying to defend my religion or anything, because i was here for a reason (doubting my beliefs). i'm very grateful that i came on here and was able to free myself from religion and the fear that came from it thanks to everyone who engaged with my post

edit since its confusing some people: i have left religion and am thanking this subreddit and its members because they helped me

do you think anything happens after death? do you hope so?

i dont believe in heaven or hell, but the thought of nothingness scares me. while i dont believe there will be a god waiting to give me my sentence for eternity when i die, i do hope there will be something after death.

assuming ethan is needed

i don’t think tabitha will be willing to sacrifice him and they’re gonna panic, miy will think the cycle won’t end and he’ll get cocky and slip up and they’ll defeat him. or something along the lines of them finding a loophole. maybe biw can go instead of ethan?

i just don’t think tabitha will be willing to sacrifice her son. she’ll prob say something like “i lost one son i wont lose another”

everyone telling miy everything, and nobody suspecting anything????

it's getting really frustrating watching everyoe tell sophia everything right off the bat. in previous seasons they were a lot less keen on telling everyone in the town their plans, just the people they need. and now theyre running around telling the birds and the bees every breath they plan on taking. ALSO?? how has no one realized that bad things/miy reappeared after sophia and her dad came to town? they did it to jim and tabitha when they came to town. i feel like the town is becoming stupider and not bothering with anything anymore

is it wrong to believe in religion?

is there something wrong, morally, physically, theoretically, with being in any religion?

i made a post about a question on islam and have gotten pretty convinced in religion not being true. and now im wondering if there are people who believe that there is something wrong (in any sense) with believing in a religion.

i dont think the sole belief in a religion is wrong morally/ethically but i do think that believing blindly, sheep following is wrong in the sense that you’re believing something that basically has no evidence.

it’s wrong to commit immoral acts on behalf of religion or using religion to justify your actions, same goes for holding prejudice on the basis of your religion told you to.

questions from a muslim to atheists

i’m sure this has been discussed before, but what’s the explanation for things we know are true being mentioned in the quran years/centuries before the scientific discovery being made?

i know a lot of people argue that there are inaccuracies in the explanations of the orbital mechanics and biological themes, but they’re more accurate that not, so i was just wondering what would the explanation for how “god would know and tell the prophet” before people found out?

hopefully my question makes sense.

EDIT: i also wonder why dont see miracles from god anymore

EDIT: im seeing all the inaccuracies and the explanations behind them now but there is a deep fear that the religion is true and god is real and punishment awaits me if i disbelieve, also a sense of familiarity/peace with believing in god. contradictory to fear, love, be punished by, and find comfort in one concept of a being.

Study Abroad and Talking to Parents Advice Needed

this is gonna be a long post so bear with me but im too scared to ask anyone i know so im posting on reddit because i know nobody here knows who i am.

for a little backstory on me, im from dubai and am born and raised here. im quite well traveled and though i love this city and its my home, ive always wanted to go abroad for uni, especially europe or the us. the us obviously wasn't a viable option so last year i decided to go to barcelona. i wont disclose the name of the university because its quite small and idw anyone to get an idea of who i am.

anyways, after joining this uni, bec of how small it is, i made 0 friends, and the friends i made in the beginning switched up on me bec i dont drink (im assuming thats the reason). i fell into a really shit depressive hole and wanted to leave the uni. the uni was also absolutely horrible and not accreddited so i was leaving no matter what. however, due to how bad the uni was and how lonely i was, i told my parents i wanted to leave the country and come back home (to dubai).

yada yada yada, i came back, both my parents are traumatized from the experience and enrolled me in a uni here. it's a great uni, the major is great, and i've met some people. but i cant shake the regret off, and i want to go back so badly. i talked so much shit abt barcelona to everyone because of how much the bad experience tainted my view on it, but now that ive calmed down from everything i went thru, im realizing how miserable i am that i came back.

im too scared to talk to my parents about it bec my dad, who doesnt like not having me by him, is completely traumatized and has talked about how hes never letting me step foot in barcelona again and idk what. but i cant live my life in regret over not having the uni years i wanted.

everyone in my life was like "wtf why'd u come back" and "u were the last person i expected to not travel" and it hurts that theyre right.

idk what to do
