People get really upset that YSG loves the proxy more than others and people jump the gun and seem to think she has no care for her brother at all which is simply not true and such extreme hyperbole. She has a legitimate reason to like proxy. Even if you don’t like the dynamic she does have a reason.

Her brother loves her but didn’t respect her choices, autonomy and didn’t accept she was grown. She needed time and had to pull away. She accepted her fate as the bearer of the sword and wanted to be somone who could sacrifice herself for the greater good. You might think that shinyuan is right for not accepting that but you have to remember that if she didn’t use the sword then who will. He would, he says it himself “the sword should’ve chose me instead” she made her choice to risk her life for the safety of others (literally no different from characters like Harumasa or Zhu yuan)

Shinyuan went undercover in enemy lines behind the summits back and killed Sarah. He got possessed by the creator and YSG used the sword to save him from it. Then next patch he was trying to find a way to separate the user while YSG spent the first part looking for him. They spend their lives sacrificing themselves over eachother but the cycle needed to end. They both need to move on with their paths. Personally I love my sister but I wouldn’t want to live my entire life with her, I’d rather live with my spouse but I’m still grateful for what’s she has done for me.

“She’s annoying waifubait” “She’s a fraud” whatever but you can’t convince me that she does not love her brother. And using this frame out of context won’t either this is her alter form which is an expression of her emotional desires speaking out of desperation. Or maybe it’s a love confession that her love for the proxy is romantic and not platonic?

Sike! Suprise ysg glaze but seriously why does everyone hate ysg for choosing a life she wants to take. Is it because harumasa is one of the few male characters so he’s deep and well written? Is it because YSG is just yet another disposable waifu for the proxy to fuck so her choices dont matter?

“Why didn’t she just listen to her brother and give up the sword?” Ye shinyuan is a hypocrite because he literally said himself that “the sword should’ve chosen me instead” meaning if she didn’t have the sword he would have it and sacrifice his life. Oh and if she didn’t use the sword the creator doesn’t get defeated. Oh and it should be mentioned that the sword doesn’t fucking kill her anymore and she was able to overcome something the other sword bears cannot.

I understand not liking the way the story is presented or thinking the sword plot is loose and contrived but YSG does not deserve to be called pro suicide, the game does tackle dark subjects but they will always end on a hopeful note. Harumasa and YSGs story is about using your negative upbringings to learn and help others. This is one of the many false arguments to hate on Ye Shunguang.

How can you scale them? We know nothing about them? Headcannon and vibes bro.

4 remielle dan. Can stop time and drain ether curation out but we haven’t seen her do something that crazy yet. Like what if you punched her in the face? Would she survive? Idk but at the very least I think she can 1v1 the people below due to hax.

5 YeShunguang/Miyabi. Now the real void hunters. I only have YSG over Miyabi because she fought a stronger opponent, the creator opposed to sacrifice bringer. If you want to interchange them then sure. Then sword master after

First thing I wanna mention her defeating the creator is a higher feat anyone has achieved, even surpassing Miyabi and YiXuan. The creator is on such a high level caliber compared to other antagonists it’s not even close. She could just send thousands of flying blades up their ass.

Do does literally everyone else when they fight except maybe like Vivian? The proxy was there to activate her powers and once she did it she was able to fight with the swords full power. It’s not like she constantly needs proxy to be there anymore she could just do it.

I don’t know if you were paying attention but she actually unlocks the sword’s potential and is able to diminish its negative effects due to her becoming in tune with it. A feat no other sword wielder obtained. She wouldn’t have been a void hunter otherwise.

This is such a lame ass argument acting like Miyabi doesn’t get ass wiped by sacrifice bringer without tailess, She’s a powerful mystic at yunkai summit, did you see how ye shinyuans boss fight has the same flying swords as her. It’s a family ye technique they have, nothing to do with the sword at all it just amplifies it. When she turns white that’s when she actually uses it. She can totally fight without activating it.
