Hey all. You guys were very helpful when I previously asked for help identifying a place name. I really do appreciate it. I have another request - can anyone identify the following location? It’s from my relative’s passenger manifest, who emigrated from Poland to the U.S. in 1912.
That’s where she’s from. The family name is “Danielcyzk.”
Thanks!
EDIT: Thanks for all of your help! Jesteście wspaniali!
Hi all! I’m an American with Polish lineage.
I’ve been increasingly getting into genealogy in order to learn more about my family background. I have been using ancestry.com to pull documents, including U.S. Census records and ship manifests - including the screenshot attached here from a 1907 passenger list.
Can anyone help identify this locality? On the document, their nationality is listed as Austrian and their “race or people” as Polish.
Any help would be much appreciated. If this question should be directed elsewhere, please let me know. Thanks!
Just found this All Out War setlist in my bag from last weekend, must have been a good night.
I’m not a collector but grab them occasionally.
What about y’all?
Worth it, though. The lads opened for Worm in Brooklyn.
After the Times Union chastised Sticker Man for fabricating quotes for a TV ad, you’d think their columnist would be more circumspect and wary of writing something that could be manipulated by a bad faith actor.
But instead, he serves up Candidate Chud something in this morning’s column that he had to have known would be spun like this.
As an aside: What makes Constantino the “odds-on favorite”?
There’s no reputable polling and no real reporting on the race shining a light on the electorate. Churchill himself notes he’s self-funding his advertising blitz. Does that make him the odds-on favorite?
Churchill also notes Constantino is targeting the low-propensity voters who are less likely to vote in primaries as opposed to the party faithful, who are backing Smullen.
End It delivered. While it didn’t affect their sound, it was interesting seeing the band with multiple fill-ins.
Pain of Truth were the highlights, tough act for Terror to follow. Caught Cruel Hand as well.
Your thoughts, both tonight and overall?
I did not purchase the AI-derived T-shirt. Thank you to whoever flagged that.
Who’s all going? Has anyone been to one of these Rocks Off cruises before? I’ve gone several times and still amazed that I’ve seen bands like Pig Destroyer, Crowbar, and Eyehategod bobbing within a few hundred yards of the Statue of Liberty. (And no, Crowbar didn’t sink the boat last year, but Primitive Man might tonight).
It’s hot as balls in here already. Gonna be a long weekend.
Caught Ingrown tonight. What’s in the water in Boise? Best way I can describe these guys is fucking mean and vicious. They ripped through 10 songs in 20 minutes and dipped. Witness Chamber, also from Idaho, were a nice surprise. Heavy, crushing metallic hardcore with occasional clean vocals from the drummer.
The band ripped. But music aside: Took a look through their (lengthy) Wikipedia to learn more about their role in shaping death metal - and why they haven’t seemed as consistent or visible as their peers - and holy cow, seems like a wild ride.
Do they have any original members, or just the drummer?
Any Cryptopsy experts who can offer a TL; DR into their history?
