Why do people conflate asexuality with sex aversion?

I come in good faith, just stumbled upon this subreddit and interested to learn more about this take I’ve seen a ton browsing through here.

For reference I’m aro ace, sex averse, and romance averse. Just never felt romantic/sexual attraction and have no desire for either romance or sex

Asexual = having no sexual attraction. I’ve see some definitions where they put “little or none”, but I like to think of it more as black and white especially as that is how I’ve experienced it (by experiencing nothing).

a common sentiment in a ton of the discussions here is “asexual people have no desire for sex or experiencing sexual pleasure”. At first glance the definition of asexuality doesn’t concern having sex it concerns having attraction to someone (meaning you want to have sex with them).

I think the point I don’t get is if someone experienced no sexual attraction towards anyone, but still got pleasure from sexual acts why would that make them not asexual (which relates to having no sexual attraction). Is it purely the thought that since they enjoy the sexual acts that must mean they actually do have sexual attraction and just don’t realize it?

Is it because sex is a multi person act which usually conflates to having sexual attraction to someone to do it with? What does that mean for mastrubation which is sexual pleasure that doesn’t require sexual attraction?

Where do QPRs fit in then, are they not a similar equivalent but for romance? I’m not the most knowledgeable but I believe they form more around companionship than any sexual or romantic desires. Is it the same of claiming some isn’t aro because they want the company of a QPR?

Would love to hear more on this from anyone who’s thought about it before

Edit: reading more on the sub it seems the sentiment comes mostly from people annoyed with the openly sexual asexuals. Definitely fair for a sexuality that is defined by no sexual attraction. Idk I think I still am curious how people think mastrubation come into play.

Has anyone ever set a WR in any% category with guitar hero controller

Mostly interested in seeing alternate controller schemes. I’m sure you could complete some games with bongos or a piano, but guitar hero controller seems more viable and maybe someone’s done it

Setting a WR in an any% category with a guitar hero controller

Is there any other guitar hero-centric runners who have claimed the WR in normal any% categories but with the goofy plastic guitar?

It seems like a joke but I believe it’s a super fun controller to use for different games. Just curious, hit it half a year ago in Sonic Racing Crossworlds and wanted to see what other games people have gravitated towards that is good to run with the controller

Unfairness in AT&T 2xko bracket

Can someone who’s in the melee scene or knows more about construction of brackets explain the 2xko bracket situation?

What is the result of the bracket having people from the same pool match in round one bo16?

Just curious. Loving this week of 2xko been my favorite week of FSSLL
