With 4.6 now pretty much confirmed to be bringing no new Novaflares, we're apparently looking at 4.7 at the earliest — if they even happen at all. At this point, I genuinely find this ridiculous.

The last Novaflares happened all the way back in 4.2. That's several versions in which HoYoverse has had plenty of opportunities to revisit existing characters, evaluate their performance, and implement meaningful improvements — yet we're now going through another patch cycle with nothing, and the frustrating part is that Sunday is exactly one of the characters who could and would benefit the most from this.

Novaflares were created to give characters an opportunity to receive targeted improvements without requiring an entirely new character and Sunday already has an established niche, but there are still aspects of his kit and Eidolons that could be meaningfully improved to keep him competitive and make his investment feel more rewarding, so why has it been this long since the last batch?

The developers obviously have the resources to design, test, and implement balance changes faster than this — we've seen them make substantial adjustments to characters in shorter spans of time (4.0 -> 4.2); and that's precisely why the continued absence of Novaflares is becoming increasingly difficult to understand to me.

I'm not asking for every character to be adjusted in the span of 3 months or versions, I'm asking for meaningful modernization and improvements where they're needed. A Novaflare would be the perfect opportunity to address some of the weaknesses in his kit while preserving what makes Sunday unique — and with the Satisfaction Survey coming around soon, I think this is where us, Sunday mains, can make our voices heard.

Please don't forget to mention Sunday in the upcoming survey. Don't assume someone else will do it. Don't assume the developers already know what we want. Give specific feedback about what you believe could be improved in his kit, his Eidolons, and his overall performance. Even if you've already submitted feedback before, send it again. A single survey response may feel insignificant on its own, but consistent feedback from a large number of Sunday players is much harder to ignore than silence.

We've been waiting since 4.2 for another Novaflare batch. If 4.6 passes without one, we're potentially waiting until 4.7 or even longer. I don't think we should simply accept that and stop asking. Let's make it clear that Sunday hasn't been forgotten.

If you want Sunday to receive a Novaflare as much as I do, please use the upcoming Satisfaction Survey and every appropriate feedback channel to ask for his buffs. Be specific, be constructive, and most importantly, keep the feedback coming. 4.2 was a long time ago. It's time for Novaflares to return, and it's time for Sunday to receive the improvements he deserves.

We know the game continues to receive new mechanics and balance considerations, and that's precisely why the lack of Novaflares becomes increasingly difficult to understand.

I'm not asking for every character to be buffed in the span of 3 months. I'm asking for the characters who need help to actually receive it — and with the satisfaction survey coming around soon, I think this is where the community can make its voice heard.

If there's a character you believe deserves buffs, please don't forget to mention them in the upcoming survey. Don't assume someone else will do it. Don't assume the developers already know. Give specific feedback about what isn't working, what has aged poorly, and what changes you'd like to see.

Whether it's Jing Yuan, Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae, Fu Xuan, Topaz, Argenti, Acheron, Jade, Sunday, Fugue, Cipher, or another character you believe has been done dirty and left behind, use the feedback channels available to us.

A survey may feel insignificant on its own, but thousands of players consistently asking for meaningful improvements is much harder to ignore than silence.

I’ve been wondering about this for a while: are there really no YouTube, TikTok, or other social media content creators within the Sunday community who make dedicated videos discussing his current state and why he desperately needs a Novaflare?

I’m genuinely surprised by how little video content there seems to be on YouTube specifically. There are plenty of discussions, posts, and comments about Sunday needing improvements across social media, but very few videos that actually break down his current issues, his performance compared to newer characters, and why a Novaflare would be so important.

I do my best to spread awareness through TikTok and make plenty of posts myself, but my reach is unfortunately limited. YouTube, on the other hand, can potentially put this discussion in front of a much larger audience, including people who may not regularly browse HoYoLAB, Reddit or Sunday-focused communities—and the more visible the issue becomes, the harder it is to ignore.

I’m not saying everyone needs to become a content creator or that existing creators aren't doing enough. I’m simply wondering if there are people here who already make HSR content—or who have considered doing so—who would be willing to make a video specifically discussing Sunday's current state and the case for a Novaflare.

Even a single well-made video could reach thousands of people who otherwise might never see these discussions.

Sunday deserves to have his current situation properly heard and discussed. The more awareness we can create, the better our chances of getting meaningful attention for a Novaflare.

Based on what I've seen, it's happened the day after all drip marketings for the next version have been published every single time, so if the next Novaflare were to happen in version 4.6, it would have to be announced after the playable character(s) are drip marketed, which should either be the 12th or the 13th of August, right?

I can't wait for the next Novaflare buffs batch to happen and for it to hopefully include Sunday...

Hello everyone. Changli has been one of my favorite characters and reasons to play the game along with Jiyan and Jinhsi back when I started, and now that they are back, I wanted to know how good is her vertical investment and if I should grab 1 or 2 of her Wavebands in order to future proof her and be able to continue using her nowadays.

After reading through her S1, I am confused about whether multiple stacks can be obtained after using her resonance skill twice and her Flaming Sacrifice, making it a 30% increase instead. (I hope this is the case because 10% dmg sounds weak), and I have never been interrupted during her Flaming Sacrifice Forte, so I am not sure if it is that valuable. Could you please explain to me exactly how it works, how much of an increase it is, and if it's worth it?

And about S2, does it grant the Crit Rate the moment any amount of Enflamement stacks are held, or? 25% Crit Rate sounds good.

A few weeks ago before 4.4 beta started, Sunday Novaflare was everywhere—people were posting leaks, updates, theories, release speculation, etc. It felt like it was right around the corner and the whole community was actively talking about it daily, but now… it’s weirdly gone quiet.

There hasn’t really been any new discussion, updates, or even speculation lately. It almost feels like the whole thing just faded out of nowhere, and I’m a bit confused about what changed. It went from being super present and “coming soon” energy to feeling kind of distant and uncertain again.Did I miss anything like a delay announcement? Or did the hype just naturally die down because there’s nothing new to go on?

For people still following it closely like me: Do you think Sunday’s Novaflare is still on track for a near release? Has there been any recent info I might’ve missed, perhaps from the CN side of things? Or is this just one of those cases where the community moves on until the next crumbs or update drops?

I’m curious to hear what you all think, especially from those still following it closely.

Is it just like having 30% Fire dmg% (which would be horrible), or does it increase her Ult and Assist Skill ATK multiplier scalings by a 30% of their original value, making it — Ult: 762% -> 990,6% of her ATK & Assist Skill: 160% -> 208 of her ATK, getting back a small fraction of the nerfs she received in V4?

Furthermore, where can I see actual trustworthy and reliable calculations of her performance starting at E0S0, going all the way to E2S1 with the dmg% increase each level of investment provides? (No E4 Welt, no fake vietnamese agenda spreadsheet.
