Anybody here ever experience their coolant temp shooting to the moon while parked?

This just happened to me after driving somewhere for work and I was sitting in the car parked for a few minutes and when the warning light started sounding I shut the car off immediately.

Coolant tank appears normal and the coolant level looks normal too.

Any ideas?

Im a non resident passing through the state relatively soon and want to get my fingerprints out of the way.

Do I have to take the state approved course before I can get fingerprinted or am I able to get fingerprinted first then take the course after?

Hello all, sometime in August ill be driving down to Florida and stopping in or near La Plata for the night.

While im staying there id like to get fingerprinted the following morning before I make the rest of my drive.

I saw on the MD website that there were several places that offer fingerprinting for ccw, any recommendations? Who offers walk ins or if i have to make an appointment in the La Plata area?
