New bike day: CRUX 5 ☺️

New bike day: CRUX 5 ☺️

got the crux 5 as my new gravel/adventure/ultra bike. Got the comp base and upgraded with a mavic wheelset. Took it for its first spin yesterday and it rides so smoothly. CW is a spectacle, too

XDR free hub body/ or top cap too short???

Hi guys,

I have a dtswiss 240 hub on my mavic cxp pro and used to run a Shimano HG on a ratchet exp free hub body. Now I am converting to sram rival xplr axs, bought the corresponding ratchet exp xdr hub body with the top cap for my 12/142 axle system on the new crux. Mounted everything but the top cap seems to be too short? Or is the free hub body too short? Also, the cassette seems to be only halfway mounted on the free hub body, but the cassettes indents only go as far so I don’t think this is the issue.. This whole compatibility topic is sending me haha, thanks for some advice!

New to sram, but this derailleur looks bent, right? Straight out the box from Specialized…

SRAM rival explr axs powermeter upgrade

I got the new Specialized crux comp with the sram rival xplr axs group set. Now I want to upgrade to a “cheap” powermeter setup since I already have powermeter pedals on my road bike and don’t want to spend another 500 bucks on mtb pw pedals, so I’m going for the powermeter crank arm option.

I’m new to sram so I’m wondering about compatibility, which crank arm is the right one for me?

The standard Google search (as in the text in the title) gets me the powermeter upgrade “rival axs powermeter upgrade” PM-RIV-ASSY-E1, is that the right one? There’s also a D1 so I’m not sure tbh.

Thanks so much for the help!

Carbon frame cracked or just paint job?

I fell today (not fast, like 20kph uphill) and my leg hit the frame and it has these cracks now. Anyone has experience and give me some tips on how to check if the carbon is cracked or if it’s just the paint job?

Bike rode perfectly fine after, no sounds, no spongy feel etc.

Thank you guys so much. I’m on vacation and would hate to cancel it due to a broken frame.

Whoop Age

Just unlocked my whoop age and I’m 7,8 years younger… now I don’t really feel like 21 years old physically but I’m probably the fittest and healthiest I’ve ever been in my life. Is a whoop age that young normal when it first unlocks since the measurements and data is minimal or is this actually a good sign for my cv fitness?
