Aside from gameplay, what do you think Simon’s many guns in the book implies?

We know he has a gun in real life, as he uses it to take his own life or the lives of the cops. But, why so many guns? Why so infatuated? Did he grow up around them? Did he have to sue them one point or another before the accident? Or was it an infatuation with video games, as we can see he has a half life 2 poster in his room?

Something neat I just noticed in the this is how I died 2026 vid? Is that you can see the player character in the TV screen reflection before it cuts to his story.

Why don’t player characters spawn in slightly more fortified homes? (Ie closed curtains, barricaded doors and windows with like furniture and stuff)

It seems pretty dumb of them to just leave the windows uncovered, doors unlocked and shit when there are walking hungry corpses prowling their street.

Where do you think the blight ranks in terms of zombie viruses?

Figured it’s on the low end, seeing as it lacks special infection vectors (airborne transmission, everybody infected and turns on death)

That and it has semi lackluster special infected compared to the green flu and twd, and incubation time that’s wildly inconsistent which could take hours, takes days if not a week (depending how they’re infected)

(Sad trope) In isolation/prison for so long the world has already moved on without you.

Chuck Noland (Castaway)

Brooks (Shawshank redemption)

Sole Survivor (FO4)
