Chatbots have entered the art chat

Created without any image or video generation models at all, purely through code using a text chatbot. It does appear that people may want to reconsider using pure LLMs as they can be used to make images and videos pretty well now too.

trying to understand how AI can't make anything new

I hear a lot of arguments that AI can only make things that were already in it's dataset, but I don't think there was any videos of realistic pregnant sonics twerking on a California sidewalk until I made it, so how is that not new? I can make a pregrnant sonic do many things it has not done in video before

Assuming all things are equal

Even at the higher end of intake it would take weeks to accomplish the same thing.

Question for antis regarding glaze/nightshade

Do you consider at this point what you were told about glaze/nightshade to be disinformation,or was it misinformation?

Roughly speaking, disinformation means that people intentionally told you it would work, when they knew it didn't, vs misinformation means that the people behind it genuinely believed it worked but were wrong.

I'm just just curious the category people would put it in these days. As far as I know it's been well known for years now that it did nothing (basically from when it first came out), but I do believe there are people who genuinely believed it would work who told other people to do it. The people who made it certainly were aware it didn't work, but you probably didn't hear about it from them directly.
