NO-FEE passport question

When I applied for my no-fee passport. I received this flyer which states "you will complete a renewal application" since I had my own travel passport already. I just read online other spouses say they were told to put "first time applicant" but that doesn't mention "renewal" like my form does. I followed through on Pic #2 and when I got to the passport office they took a picture of my physical passport to submit with the application but I kept the physical passport.

I am getting my no-fee passport today, my question is, by filling it out as a renewal like in pic #2 is my travel passport that I kept and they sent in a picture of invalidated now??? I called the travel.state.gov number and they said I cant find out if its invalidated until I use it.

For us going oconus I will be using the no-fee passport initially and when im traveling abroad outside of the US, im not going to find out if its invalid until im in another country trying to travel around? That sounds absolutely ridiculous. Anyone follow the same process as I did and have any issues? Any experience with this? Im going to ask the worker when I go to pick up my no-fee passport, but im sooo frustrated if that is the case.

Where did I learn the phrase "I dig it like a shovel pimp"?

I used it, and I know it means to be fully on board for something. But I cant find how I learned that when my peers looked at me like im crazy. I know its a phrase and I've heard it and picked it up from somewhere, but I cant find any reference to it.

Advice using runners for housing in Rota Spain

Hello everyone, still on the hunt for a runner. However, I was wondering what the steps are for this process. When I find someone what can I expect? What do I need to provide them? Will I see the homes in person with the runner once I get there? How do I get a home inspected or determine if it has been inspected? All info appreciated, brand new experience for me :)

Military spouse (overseas) looking for BSN to DNP online program recommendation

My husband is being stationed overseas and there is no job opportunity for me unless I fly back to the states for a travel contract.

I am looking into going back to school with the time ill have for DNP mostly online, because im out of the country, definitely willing to fly back for clinicals, hoping there's a program with clinicals at the end.

FNP is the goal

Any recommendations for my situation, any NPs gone this route? Thank you everyone :)

Anyone relate? I feel like marriage isn't enough, there has to be more.

I feel like im starving for my husband, like a craving I cant satisfy. There has to be a further step to make him belong to me further. Ughhhhhhhh im frustrated. I love all of him, just want to shrink him and put him in my hands and keep him with me everywhere. Maybe just hormones lmao.

Readiness screening question

Hello everyone,

I am a navy mil spouse, my question hasn't been answered in the SO reddit, so im trying here.

We are going oconus in the next couple months, husband was informed to get me started on my readiness screenings. I made a dentist appointment and online it says to fill out a DD 2813 form. But it appears servicemen specific, is there a family/spouse equivalent form that I should bring with me to the appointment?

Husband's at work, and im trying to get started where I can.

Thank you :) I am very new.

Preparing for oconus, how do I fill out the DD 2813 dental readiness form

The form says service members name, dod ID number, branch, unit assignment/address. Where do I put my information as a spouse?

I was informed that I needed to be seen for dental and medical checks. I'm getting stuff together and making appointments, but it doesn't seem like this form applies to me? Its the only form I found.

My husband has 2 close friends who work with him, we all want to get a house when we go oconus, and live together. How does that work? What are the ins and outs of it? Thank you :)
