2 tree infront of my window fell because of heavy rain and gusty winds and now I feel depressed.

So, 2 out of the 3 trees from the front of my window just fell due to geavy rains and windy conditions, could have been saved by timely pruning and better management but that can't be expected here anyway. These provided me privacy from the pockets in front, aesthetics and serene green views everytime I looked out.

This feels like a loss of a dear friend. I'll miss them dearly.

Saw a an accident live at Palm Beach road right infront of Kesar Solitaire last night at 3:00 AM

So this blue plush BMW sedan driver was definitely drunk and crossed me at over 120 kmph while it was raining and I was on the left most lane. I saw him in my rear view mirror and figured he's an idiot whom i should make distance from so I shifted further on the left side. This asshole drives past at easily over 120 kmph and as he was doing the curve he hit a red i20, sways on the road as his car skids on the wet surface and ended up in the ditch on the left hand side. All this happened because if one person's asshole like behavior and so many things went wrong. I was stunned to see that because he could have hit me too and sent me flying in the air, he gave great damage to the i20 as his entire righ side is damaged beyond repair and needs major bodywork now. It's sad how these assholes make such a beautiful and otherwise a safe road unsafe by being plain stupid.

The BMW driver came out all fine, stood there looking at his car and then sat inside again as the police came. Waved at them trying to act all innocent and show that he's fine yeah! That was funny. I felt bad for the couple in the i20, helped them up a bit and the cops took the asshole away while he clesrly was blabbering random drunk shit. I hope he gets the utmost punishment possible for putting other people's innocent lives at risk.

Some people just want to live, man. They like to simply enjoy a rainy ride on a rare beautiful city road in India. Let them live in peace and safety please. Avoid drunk driving at all costs. You're not just irresponsible, you're a killer if you hit someone.

Spot the car while going towards nerul from sanpada. Just ahead of kesar solitaire

Has anyone experienced smoke + burning smell from exhaust after braking in a Kia Seltos Petrol IVT?

So this happened today in my Kia Seltos 1.5 Petrol IVT automatic (2025 model).

I was driving normally at around 70 kmph and had to brake for a red signal. Right after stopping, I noticed a bit of smoke coming from the silencer/exhaust area. Along with that there was also a burning-type smell that I could notice inside and around the car.

The weird part is... No warning lights came on, Engine temp stayed completely normal, Coolant and engine oil levels are fine, Car drove perfectly normal afterward all the way home, Smokeand smell were gone after a few minutes.

I had also refueled not too long before this happened, so now I’m wondering:

Could it be bad fuel? Water in petrol, Ethanol-related? Somethinfg Stuck on the exhaust burning off? maybe brake-related heat/smell after sudden braking?

The car currently feels perfectly fine, no rough idle, no jerking, no overheating, nothing unusual.

Just wanted to know if anyone else with a Seltos or any modern petrol automatic has experienced something similar. Did it turn out to be harmless or something serious later on?

Mumbai airport approach seems to be under stress due to heavy rains as well. Not the usual approach for landing in Mumbai, 4 missed approaches in span of 30 mins with multiple wide bodies lined up over the arabian sea for landing in Mumbai.

Walked through such lush green and shaded streets in Vashi during harsh afternoon sun and humidity and realised how important greenery is for our cities.

Day by day my hate for gutka chewers keeps multiplying. I feel like stapling their filthy mouths.

Wtf is even this? Why are these fuckers so terrible? Are they not humans? They lack such basic ethics? What the fuck man, just look at it! The littering of their sachets is another terrible thing thing they do altogether. The soil beds have just been made by the nmmc to plant shrubs to have a divide between walking path and roads. But, look at these filthy fucks littering it before the plants could even be planted!

Truth is we were an amazing, champion team winning 5 trophies and playing amazing quality of cricket. Another truth is that we are now a below average team playing mediocre cricket.

Since the very first season of IPL I have watched and always supported MI through thick and thin. But, I've never seen them play such hopeless brand of cricket. We used to be great at all segments of the game. Batting was class, fielding was amazing and bowling was fiery. Now we've just come down to some bright performances here and there and some wins here and there by chance. We used to fight, never give up and snatch wins from positions no other teams could back then. Polly was one big reason behind those championships.

Now I see catches being dropped regularly, bowling being so mediocre and batting so mediocre even average bowlers dominate us. As a MI fan it's painful to watch my team like this. Although I don't think Hardik is to ve blamrd entirely but he sure does have slme responsibility of this situation. Yes, we have had bad years before but always because of some missing links in the team. We were perfect this year! Just SKY's form not being the best shows how important his performances have been over the past so many years now. He was the one who carried the batting last year till playoffs. I Miss my team.

Bumrah is an intelligent cricket player, yes he's a skilled bowler but he's got high IQ too. (Picture just for fun)

I feel Bumrah can be a great captain like he was today, getting the best out of his bowlers, good field placement and rotation of bowlers. The batting lineup worked well too. He's not just a skilled bowler. But, an intelligent player as well. Experienced enough now having played 13 years of IPL and decade long Indian team career now across formats. He can be a great captain not just for MI but for the Indian team too. Only if he did not have injury issues he had great potential as captain everywhere!

Please collect your mango seeds and send it to us, we send them to Government run nurseries which grow trees out of them. DM me for Navi Mumbai collection point details.

This summer please don't throw those mango seeds thinking it's garbage, send it to us. We collect these seeds from you, send it to government run nurseries thay grow trees out of them, graft it with a mature tree's branch and give it to needy farmers across Maharashtra.

This initiative helps plant lakhs of seeds that would otherwise end up in garbage and be of no use.

Growing them into plants has benefits like:-

  1. Helping needy farmers source quality grafted trees which provide them with earnings in near future.

  2. Planting a great number of Mango tree helps the environment vastly as these are one of the highest oxygen providing trees.

  3. Maintain the supply and pricing of mangoes over the years.

These are just some of the benefits, you can find many more on the internet.

It's crazy how Mumbai politicians have now made it their goal to get rid of such titles. This is from four years ago.

Four years ago it was so much better in terms of weather. Suddenly it feels like hell is raining down it's fire all over MMR. What's coming for us in coming decades??

The game if cricket involves all the players. It's not just for the batters to be the heroes of the game. Somewhere through this IPL season and since 2024 for a fact. I've noticed they've made batters the ultimate heroes of the game with bowlers looking like idiots of the game. Swinging balls beating batsman, balls bouncing or skidding on the pitch making it an actual work of skill fir the batters and creating tension on the ground and in the living room of the tv viewers is gone. How much dopamine can these meaningless six hitting games pump into the audience? For the new generation who are now starting to watch cricket this is how their brains are shaping and this how they'll always see cricket. This is dangerous for the game. I already see 15 years olds getting bored of watching 160-170 scores. Man it was the standard back then and it had competition from both sides. 180+ was considered tough chase and 200+ almost assured you a victory, if not then you were up to experience a great chase where things would change every ball keeping you on the edge.

This is also going to blur out the vision to recognize talent. Batters or bowlers both, how will you know who's a good batter or who's actually a bad bowler because everyone is hitting sixes and everyone is getting hit 20 rpo.
