Truth is we were an amazing, champion team winning 5 trophies and playing amazing quality of cricket. Another truth is that we are now a below average team playing mediocre cricket.

Truth is we were an amazing, champion team winning 5 trophies and playing amazing quality of cricket. Another truth is that we are now a below average team playing mediocre cricket.

Since the very first season of IPL I have watched and always supported MI through thick and thin. But, I've never seen them play such hopeless brand of cricket. We used to be great at all segments of the game. Batting was class, fielding was amazing and bowling was fiery. Now we've just come down to some bright performances here and there and some wins here and there by chance. We used to fight, never give up and snatch wins from positions no other teams could back then. Polly was one big reason behind those championships.

Now I see catches being dropped regularly, bowling being so mediocre and batting so mediocre even average bowlers dominate us. As a MI fan it's painful to watch my team like this. Although I don't think Hardik is to ve blamrd entirely but he sure does have slme responsibility of this situation. Yes, we have had bad years before but always because of some missing links in the team. We were perfect this year! Just SKY's form not being the best shows how important his performances have been over the past so many years now. He was the one who carried the batting last year till playoffs. I Miss my team.

Appealing to all of you once again. Be a part of this simple yet important initiative.

I previously posted here for the same thing. I request you all again, please be aprt of this initiative and make a difference. I see 100s of people posting stories and statuses about planting more trees, supporting farmers etc. But, it's easy to be an online activist because all it takes it 2-3 taps and you simply repost and be a worried citizen. Please take some time and effort and help numerous causes. Nothing much, just wash and dry your seeds and send them to us. Rest will be taken care of by us.

Bumrah is an intelligent cricket player, yes he's a skilled bowler but he's got high IQ too. (Picture just for fun)

I feel Bumrah can be a great captain like he was today, getting the best out of his bowlers, good field placement and rotation of bowlers. The batting lineup worked well too. He's not just a skilled bowler. But, an intelligent player as well. Experienced enough now having played 13 years of IPL and decade long Indian team career now across formats. He can be a great captain not just for MI but for the Indian team too. Only if he did not have injury issues he had great potential as captain everywhere!

Please collect your mango seeds and send it to us, we send them to Government run nurseries which grow trees out of them. DM me for Navi Mumbai collection point details.

This summer please don't throw those mango seeds thinking it's garbage, send it to us. We collect these seeds from you, send it to government run nurseries thay grow trees out of them, graft it with a mature tree's branch and give it to needy farmers across Maharashtra.

This initiative helps plant lakhs of seeds that would otherwise end up in garbage and be of no use.

Growing them into plants has benefits like:-

  1. Helping needy farmers source quality grafted trees which provide them with earnings in near future.

  2. Planting a great number of Mango tree helps the environment vastly as these are one of the highest oxygen providing trees.

  3. Maintain the supply and pricing of mangoes over the years.

These are just some of the benefits, you can find many more on the internet.

It's crazy how Mumbai politicians have now made it their goal to get rid of such titles. This is from four years ago.

Four years ago it was so much better in terms of weather. Suddenly it feels like hell is raining down it's fire all over MMR. What's coming for us in coming decades??

The game if cricket involves all the players. It's not just for the batters to be the heroes of the game. Somewhere through this IPL season and since 2024 for a fact. I've noticed they've made batters the ultimate heroes of the game with bowlers looking like idiots of the game. Swinging balls beating batsman, balls bouncing or skidding on the pitch making it an actual work of skill fir the batters and creating tension on the ground and in the living room of the tv viewers is gone. How much dopamine can these meaningless six hitting games pump into the audience? For the new generation who are now starting to watch cricket this is how their brains are shaping and this how they'll always see cricket. This is dangerous for the game. I already see 15 years olds getting bored of watching 160-170 scores. Man it was the standard back then and it had competition from both sides. 180+ was considered tough chase and 200+ almost assured you a victory, if not then you were up to experience a great chase where things would change every ball keeping you on the edge.

This is also going to blur out the vision to recognize talent. Batters or bowlers both, how will you know who's a good batter or who's actually a bad bowler because everyone is hitting sixes and everyone is getting hit 20 rpo.

I wish so bad that India as a country develops more such miyawaki style gardens. Such blissful feeling to walk through dense greenery, breathing clean fresh air and soothing views for the eyes. Plant more trees everyone!

Went for a spontaneous morning walk today and felt really good. During the walk I felt this serenity and beauty of these green covers all around. I wish India as a country starts focusing on greenery and tree plantation and that the whole country has such spaces.
