help me find schools for my 8th grade brother

we are a single parent, low income household. my brother currently lives in a small cramped apartment in nyc and i believe his environment really is negatively impacting his motivation and discipline. i struggled with laziness as well and i really dont want him to fall to the same mistakes. he gets decent grades (a's and b's), but our parent is really telling me that he finds the motivation to study for the shsat. if i can get him to lock in, can you guys recommend any (private) schools that cover 100% of demonstrated aid (preferrably in ny) to look into?

what materials would be necessary (tests, recs, etc.)? i know its a tight schedule but i really want him to succeed.

best dorms at emory

i was wondering which dorms are the best. i got put into woodruff double, i definitely prefer suite style housing and fine with staying in my current housing assignment but might look into room changing

also: which halls are most likely to open up during room changes

how can i negotiate for more financial aid

i need to transfer and got into my dream school. however the cost is $50k and my school is notorious for being stingy on aid. i already submitted appeals, which i think are the only formal way to get more aid (emailing my counselor did not help). how can i get past this ask for more?

what should i do for freshman summer

i don't have a summer internship secured and i feel like my resume is a bit lighter than my peers. im still not sure what i want to do, but i feel like the lack of experience has definitely hindered me on my behaviorals and i just need to do things this summer, but im not sure where to start.

the main two career paths i was looking towards were consulting and ib because of the exit opportunities, but im going to look at different roles. really prefer any xp where i can do financial modeling, but open to anything

any advice?
