New to the game, was advised on these settings by a bunch of 1k+ hour vets. Thoughts?

Got the game to play on a server with ~10 other players. These guys start a world every major patch but this was my first time playing. I quite enjoyed having my little mudshack in the corner while these guys were dropping bombs from helicopters 😅. Everyone else finished their goals and stopped playing after a couple of weeks. I was still feeling it so I decided to start a solo world and eventually a couple of my other friends who are also brand new to 7dtd hopped in with me.

I was advised to set my sandbox options with loot+xp+resource gain turned way up. I don't really understand the biome quests or storm either but turning these off was strongly recommended. What do yall think? Good settings for a server with 5-8 new players? Not pictured here but we eventually changed the difficulty to warrior

Are pro teams required to sit in the laning order?

In pro matches they always sit top-jg-mid-bot-sup going from left to right (audience perspective)

Is this a required thing? Could teams move the order of players around if there was a perceived benefit? Ie: faker moved to sit next to doran for emotional support?

Top builds in season 1 did 50 MILLION TIMES less damage than in season 14

In season 1, there was a bugged poison shred druid build that hit for way more damage than every other build. It used a poison proc/reapply interaction to exponentially scale the poison stack on a mob, and then bursted it for one shots on big bosses. Using this build, I could hit uber lillith for ~200m damage in one crit. This was considered gamebreaking and the build got completely removed in the following patch. Not nerfed, the legendary aspect fueling the build was deleted from the game

In season 14, top end builds (at least for sorc) aren't considered viable for pit 150 unless they can put out damage numbers somewhere around 5-10 quadrillion

This is a 50 million times difference in top end damage between season 1 and season 14. Or, damage in season 1 is roughly .000002% of the top end damage in season 14

What the fuck is this? I get that we've had more torments and powers added (mythics, charms, mercs, etc) but a 50,000,000x difference is just sloppy

Jinx/Braum command throw oki setup

2M frame kill into immediate charge S2 + delayed assist. Covers every defensive option resulting in plus frames or an easy confirm into full combo. They might have time to wakeup parry or level 3 but it's still a pretty strong setup I think

Crafting guide to gaurantee a perfect amulet roll with the cube

All credit to this guide I got from the damz ball lightning build on mobalytics - https://d4guides.gg/en/guides/dank-horadric-cube-von-nichts-zu-gold

Rephrased for those who don't want to click the link:

With a stepwise series of horadric cube crafting, some gold, and some luck, you can craft an amulet with +2 to any skill, +2 to all skills, and two % damage multipliers

To start:

Get a naked amulet - take any ancestral amulet to the cube and use the remove affix recipe until it is white rarity

Add intelligence with red dust and the add affix recipe. If it doesn't hit intelligence on the first attempt, use the focused reroll to repeat until it does

Add + to any skills with yellow dust

Add max life with blue dust. If it doesn't hit max life on the first attempt, focused reroll until it does

Enchant intelligence but dont switch the stat. This locks it in and prevents it from being targeted by any of the upcoming cube crafting steps

Focused reroll the + any skills to + shock skills with yellow dust

Add a single resistance with chromatic dust

Reroll intelligence at the enchanter until it hits + all skills - this roll is rare and this step could cost a LOT of gold. I recommend crafting at least 10 amulets and giving up on enchanting once it costs 20mil+ for each roll. It took me 5 bil and 6 amulets to get mine

Remove max life with blue dust with the remove affix recipe

Add offensive roll with red dust and focused reroll til it hits the desired multiplier (%vuln or %crit damage)

Remove resistance with the resistance dust

Add offensive roll with red dust and reroll til it hits the desired multiplier

You should now have an amulet that looks like:

+2 shock skills

+2 all skills

% vulnerable damage multiplier

% critical strike damage multiplier

Most questions can be answered in the link above. Cheers!
