ACRO RMA Exp - Proof That Choosing the Right PC Components Pays Off!

ACRO RMA Exp - Proof That Choosing the Right PC Components Pays Off!

A big shoutout to Acro Engineering Company for their outstanding RMA - Received sealed pack new unit under 1 hour!!

My 5-year-old DeepCool 850W PSU recently started giving me issues. At first, I thought my motherboard had failed, so I visited the Gigabyte service center. After testing everything thoroughly, they confirmed that the motherboard was perfectly fine, the real culprit was the PSU.

I searched online and found that DeepCool's official warranty and RMA support is handled by Acro Engineering. Luckily, they had an authorized service center in Delhi, so I visited them with my PSU.

To my surprise, after submitting my faulty unit, within just ONE HOUR they handed me a brand-new sealed replacement PSU! I honestly couldn't believe it. Walking out with a sealed replacement for a 5-year-old PSU felt amazing.

This experience reminded me why I love the PC ecosystem. Every component in a custom-built PC has its own dedicated warranty, and if you choose brands with strong after-sales support, your investment is protected for years.

What's even crazier is that DeepCool offers up to a 10-year warranty on many of its power supplies. That's incredible! Brands like Corsair and several other premium manufacturers also offer similar long-term warranties, which gives you real peace of mind.

And this is exactly why I prefer desktop PCs over gaming laptops. Once your gaming laptop's warranty expires, a major hardware failure can turn into a huge repair bill. With a custom desktop PC, each component has its own warranty PSU, GPU, RAM, SSD, motherboard, cooler, and more. If one component fails, you simply replace that part while the rest of your system continues to serve you for years. That's a massive advantage in terms of long-term ownership and cost.

This kind of after-sales support is one of the biggest reasons I believe custom PCs offer a better long-term ownership experience. Great components are important, but great warranty support is what truly adds value.

Massive thanks to the team at Acro Engineering, Delhi, for the quick, hassle-free, and professional service. This is exactly the kind of customer support that builds trust. Keep up the great work!

My disappointment is immeasurable. Time to switch to Steam!

I chose the PS5 Disc Edition because I love collecting physical games. Holding the box, soemtimes even we get posters inside also displaying the collection, and owning a copy of the game was part of the PlayStation experience for me. I even paid extra for the PS 5 Disc Edition because I believed physical media had a future.

If PlayStation really moves away from discs, that exp. is gone. It feels like collectors are being left behind. At that point, spending a little more on a gaming PC and buying games on Steam starts to make a lot more sense especially when the price of one new console game can often get you multiple great games during Steam sales.

RIP physical game collections.

Everyone Talks About EV Savings. Nobody Talks About These Costs.

EV offer lower running costs, reduced emissions, and a smoother driving experience. But like any technology, they come with their own set of trade-offs.

Before making the switch, it's important to understand the complete ownership picture—from higher insurance premiums and faster tyre wear to battery replacement costs, charging time, depreciation, and potential repair expenses.

This isn't about being for or against EVs. It's about making an informed decision based on facts, not just marketing claims.

Most EV manufacturers will only consider battery replacement under warranty if the battery's health falls below a specified threshold, commonly around 70–75% of its original capacity during the warranty period.

if your battery capacity drops from 100% to 80%, the warranty may still be considered valid and no replacement may be offered. The exact threshold varies by manufacturer and model, so it's important to read the warranty terms carefully before purchasing.

So

💡 Know the costs. Plan ahead. Drive smarter.

EVs Are Growing Up — So Are Their Problems

Just look at this Tata Harrier EV case. The owner damaged the battery, and Tata reportedly refused warranty coverage despite all the talk around a lifetime battery warranty.

Looks like "lifetime warranty" may not be as straightforward as the advertisements make it seem. Always read the fine print before making a purchase decision. Now in the video the guy is telling that he needs to covered it through insurance that is what the sevice center guy told him to do but you all know how insurance things works its not as easy as it seems insurance wale bina pareshan kiye they will not going to do much
