My 40 breeder is finally fully cycled, so I was able to pick Rootbeer up yesterday from a local breeder! They’re just a bit over 6 inches. Very excited to see them grow!

Looking for some large climbing grounds / hides for my future axolotl. My 40 gal breeder is almost done cycling and I saw these at Petsmart. They’re labeled as terrarium safe / turtle basking decor - but are these safe for the water quality? I’m looking for something other than just PVC / terracotta pots. Thanks!!

I’ve been having issues with my plants in my tank, but only this tank. They melt away like this and end up with holes in them.

I currently supplement Thrive AIO liquid fert, a few times a week. My params are stable when it comes to the API test kit, pH 7.5, 0, 0, 5-15.

I do have frogbit floaters, but clear them out as I can sell them. I keep my lights on for 6-8 hours a day.

Should I be using plant fert tabs instead? I really am looking for some guidance. Thanks!
